Honestly I have done nothing I or most people would consider illegal, unwise maybe.

I believe the reference is about the acquisition and distribution of pirate site data bases without the consent of their owners.

I was a moderator/super moderator of WJunction and was banned for collecting IP addresses of key staff members and file host site reps/owners. Publicly it was said on WJunction I was banned for recruiting for another site as a means of the staff to save face. No piracy related site wants to admit they made someone for the other side a ranking staff member. During my time there I publicly posted negatively about piracy and file hosts that promoted their services. I even engaged in open and private conversation with AK when he registered there and protested his banning there.

I have owned 4 sites used to collect data/information on uploaders, advertisers, and file host operators. They are called honeypots.

Aside from that I have been arrested a few times, simple possession, fighting/assault, no convictions.

We both know what is happening as do so many others.
I am not going to say that piracy does not hurt the business though.

When you selectively fail to target certain sources of lost revenue deliberately something is up. When you refuse to be held accountable on top of it people ask questions. Asking for money for a membership in some club to provide vague answers, well that just stinks like a pile of manure.
