They chased us for weeks and almost begged me to sign up, saying how good my sites were and how they'd love my business, etc. Then when I agreed, they messed around for days with sending (and changing and re-sending... and changing...) a huge long contract, then told me they couldn't process for me afterall because one of our sites has some pics of Prince William.

Doh! It was one of the features she originally thought was so cool because it "would get awesome conversions I bet!".

People that dumb shouldn't be trusted with crayons, let alone money!

CashAddict,

I was simply going to ignore you because you obviously have a chip on your shoulder and would love nothing more than to try and tarnish our good name. However, calling one of our top employees "dumb" is simply out of line. Based on your childish comments, she appears to be much smarter and MUCH more professional than you. Since Alysha has been with Jettis she has received nothing but praise from our clients. She is one of our star employees....simple as that.

Sorry, but it's going to take a lot more than an isolated complaint from a complete unknown to convince anyway otherwise.

Regarding our contract. It was admittedly long and complex. We've since changed it to a shorter and simplified version due to requests from clients.

Anybody care to comment on the 'rumor' that Jettis issues refunds really easy? I heard this from a couple of sources and I believe there's even a post on GFY about this.
Has this changed ?

RRRed - Effective immedialty, your Jettis account has been terminated. Take your business elsewhere!

lucky482 - I think the new contract is about 16 pages, which is about half the size of our old one! If you don't have the new one, I'm sure your rep will send one out to you.....

FYI - I just addressed this issue on this thread.....

In short, that is a completely false rumor.

Of the above or not yet mentioned, who has the best affiliate mgmt. I notice some take severl weeks for affiliates to receive the first payment. Is this the case on all? If affiliates have to wait, they simply won't try your program if your a newbie. Whats the take on this?

I believe that is to prevent fraud. Ibill and CCbill delays first payment. Don't know about the rest.

Yup, there's nothing I would love more. Nothing at all. It is my sole ambition in life to try and tarnish your good name!

hahaha... seriously - you don't think it's a bit dumb to approach a new client and tell them how great their site looks, then, after they sign up and send back the paperwork, to say you can't process for that site because of how the front page looks? It seems pretty dumb to me.

I have to tell you I have spoke to sales people from Jettis and Epoch. The training program at these companies has to be very weak. A salesman should be a expert in his company and the industry as a whole including their competition. How are we as business people going to feel comfortable discussing our business with people that have a very weak understanding. I dont blame them, I blame the people of above them, insteading slapping yourselves on the back with we are the best. Teach some business and sales skills to your people . I worked sales for fifteen years(boy am I an old fuck), I know a thing or two about sales. Both companies sales people didnt make me feeling comfortable trusting them with my wallet and therefore I didnt use them.

Have you ever heard of a compliance department? Sales and compliance are two different things. Our sales people are trained to understand the black and white compliance issues. For example, if you had a full blown celeb site, she would never have went after your biz in the first place. However, you have a normal site that happens to have 1 major celeb in insidel. It's a judgement call that needed to be made by our compliance dept. Simple as that.

Just because things didn't go your way and you did not get approved with Jettis does not give you a right to start calling people dumb. Don't be offended....it was nothing personal. Jettis is just very selective about the sites we take and for good reason.

It seems a little silly to post on every single billing thread about the fact that Alysha is going to waste everyones time. Considering you are the only one to ever accuse her of this, don't you think your experience might have been an isolated one?

Or maye you have so little going on with your program you either have too much time on your hands or you're trying to get some exposure and looking for any reason to post.

Many people complained about our long contract, so we fixed it. We listen and act on customer requests, not constant whining for no good reason.

I think our sales people are fairly well educated on the business, but remember, we are always hiring and training new people as we grow, so some are going to be a lot more educated than others.

Having said that....there is ALWAYS room for improvement so I'm not trying to slap ourselves on the back....just saying that our track record is pretty damn good overall ;)
