It's quite tame compared to many other places around the world.

Most of the 'situations' were people saying how beautiful she was and saying hello etc. Not exactly terrifying.

The only harassment was the guy who followed her.

Otherwise no big deal really.

In NYC dude's will even creep on your girl while your walking with her, no respect at all, and then they wonder why they end up in ICU.

My wife a couple times a week needed to walk past a bunch of Dominican guys coming off the subway...and they would talk shit to her.

So one day I walked up to them, and told them can you do me a huge favor, I live up the block and know most of the people in this area. But, can you make sure no one fucks with my wife, because I just got out of prison for murder and don't want to shoot anyone and go back. (It was bs, but he got the message) Then when I passed them by they all were like whats up man.
