My family busted my balls last year at a wedding in Indy cause I don't use it...

"See if you were more social and on facebook we were all chatting on there from our hotel rooms"

Thought my option of hitting the local bars across the street from my hotel was more social.

Never understand how facebook/twitter etc... is being social. Get out and get some air, the only ones that should be on there non stop are people with 5 kids that can never leave their home or old people with nothing to do. Shit didn't exist when I was kid and we played sports, rode bikes, bowled, shot pool etc...

I spend way too much time working online but that's okay cause I see a return for my time investment. Don't use it cause I don't have any extra time to spare with no return and honestly could give 2 shits about what people are doing or updating what I'm doing. Wanna know what I'm doing bring your ass over.

i still use it but it has its good and bad just like anything else. Good, you get to stay somewhat in touch with people you may not have time or the chance to normally, which is generally a good thing. Bad, because loudmouth cousins, friends, team mates who feel they have to have a loud opinion on anything and everything going on in the world and now we are all subject to listening to them. You can delete them i guess, but it's a good way to figure out who is nuts in your life and who you may want to avoid.. haha I can't be the only one who does this. Only stuff i post is recipes of food i just made--never pictures because food never photographs well. Wish others would stop trying.

I was in Vegas last year and having heard about all the spying Facebook does but equally how great of a site it is, considering it's not where I live and it wasn't my computer I decided to risk creating an account. So I took a last name from the phone book and made up some female first name then added some poorly shot photos of a model I shot.

My first impression was
* What the fuck!?!? This is the great new revolutionary site!?!? *

Sorry but I didn't see anything new or revolutionary about it. It's basically a messaging system with the ability to thumbs up and comment on photos, videos,etc. And groups. In short to me it's nothing more than Myspace meets Geocities.

So I then thought perhaps it's the people that use it making it special. Afterall, there's been a lot of marketing pushing the site.
*NopE* Same dumb fuck bullshit that you see all over the Internet. Idiot men looking for masturbation material, fake female profiles (including mine), 3rd world scammers trying to sell shit or find a girlfriend, etc... etc.. etc..

Conclusion,
I spent several hours spread out over several days and found nothing on the site of use. Anyone that wants to "stay in contact" with me can either 1) Phone me or 2) Send me an e-mail. or 3) Send me a postcard. (I still get and send those when I travel)

I dont know why every female suddenly thinks they are an animal activist just because they figured out how to share an article. I see more gore on there every day than i used to see on ogrish.com. (abused animal pics). Other than that its all kid, vacation and old chicks posting their new tattoos or selfies showing they go to the gym. If i didnt need it for work purposes I'd delete my account in a heartbeat. The only thing its good for is a source of local news.

In my experience these types of posts are just photos of animals that have already been treated and are either healing or have died. Whoever did the abuse has already been caught.

These are just "look at me, I love animals more than humans" type posts. Nothing good comes from these posts other than a lazy housewife gets to tell us how she would brutally murder the person who did this to any animal.

I can at least see the point of the anti-seaworld posts, since it seems to be having quite an effect on the company, or similar companies. But posting pics of tortured dogs isn't helping anything. Just a way for them to pass time. Which is OK too I guess, I just don't really want to look at it.

So I tried to hook up a blog to it via Twitterfeed. But when twitterfeed posts to the account all I get is 403 errors being displayed. Is there a solution or a work around for this?

So I tried to hook up a blog to it via Twitterfeed. But when twitterfeed posts to the account all I get is 403 errors being displayed.
