I am sure you will be ok if you book through her agent. We had flown her in before from Florida through another agent, she couldnt do that shoot do to personal reasons but I took a few pic sets of her, we got along great. So we were already in touch. We talked on twitter and set up a shoot. I didnt know who her agent was or even if she had one. Even on her twitter it doesnt show an agency like most girls do. Anyway, she's hot so hopefully you do get to work with her. I am only out $400 roughly but thats food off my families table and thats what pisses me off.

But really I get it. We have all had models flake on us but this is more than that. When you not only lose your time and money you could've made but lose the $400 for a flight and other costs it is much worse.
Maybe if she does have a real agency they will read this and step up and make it right for you. I know that's what I would want to do to stop the damage of future bookings or blacklisting..

I posted that story about the drama with her and her agency and if that wasn't warning enough I have no idea what is. You even commented to the effect you were ignoring the story because you knew better, having spent some time with her. Sort of like when George Bush "looked into the eyes" of Vladimir Putin. Once bitten was enough for me. Models are required to sign an agreement, whereby travel related costs are considered a loan, making the model legally responsible for whatever normal expenses are incurred. There is a clause that makes the winning party responsible for legal/court/collection related costs. Only twice (sigh of relief) we had no choice but to go to small claims court and obtain a judgement and garnishment order.
