There is no such thing as "free will" (btw... "free" from what?). Every conscious thought and action is driven by or derived from unconscious mental process which your conscious mind has no access to. Conscious awareness of anything is always an "after the fact" experience.

Drop your dualistic thinking. Open yourself to infinite possibilities including there is no "you" and only a feeble mind grasping and clinging needs a "purpose".
