I agree, some valid points Angelie. But there's a serious flaw here.

I have to agree with Angie. If you don't trust her, you shouldn't be with her.

I understand your insecurities, especially with her being so far away and your understanding how a guy thinks. But those are your insecurities, not hers. She was honest with you about where she was staying. If her intentions were to be unfaithful, she would have told you she was staying with a girlfriend from college or something like that.

It is possible that she may sleep with someone else, but you may sleep with someone else while she's gone. It's a double-edged sword.

If you try to stop her from going, I guarantee you the relationship will take a bad turn. I would no way stay with someone who didn't trust me AND threatened me for doing something I had always wanted to do. If you try this move, get ready for it to have it thrown in your face at every opportunity. Girls don't forget.

My concern would be for her safety. Her staying with someone she doesn't know is a dangerous move. If you want to approach her about from that angle, you'll have a lot more success. Tell her you would feel more comfortable if you had an opportunity to talk to the folks she plans to stay with and get a phone number. Take the time to talk to this person.

Not completely true. My sweetie and I never vacation together because we have pets that we will not leave alone or with other people. It's rare for us to be apart more than 2 weeks, but it's happened. We've been together for 10 years now.
