Adobe Fireworks batch resizing

I have a folder full of pictures that are too large for standard use. I need to batch resize, which I know how to do, except half of the videos are portrait style and half of the videos are landscape style. I could separate them into a landscape folder and a portrait folder and batch resize that way, but seems inefficient.

Are there easier ways to do this?

Definitely this. It can be slow, but pretty easy to do. I didn't even know Fireworks was still a thing? Can't remember it coming with my CS 5.5...
