Content/Program owners only please.

Just trying to work my head around why you guys give away all your hard work to tube sites under their terms. They demand a certain length, cum shots, ask for high quality etc. etc. They make money when someone joins your site by clicking the banner and have other banners on the pages displaying your content which they make money from and don't share with you. It kills our business, devalues porn in a whole and in return you get bad ratio traffic. Is it that everyone else is doing it so why shouldn't you too? Serious question.

The way I see it, The less programs giving away their video's the more value this industry holds. Whatever your site makes, It was or should be at least 10x's that amount.

Anyone who owns or works for a tube please keep your comments to yourself. This is for Program owners.

Edit: I'm not going to argue, Didn't make this thread for that. I just want to hear what everyone has to say.
I already posted my comments and beliefs on it.

There are people here who would pimp out their own mothers for a couple of Benjamins or less, sometimes a lot less.

Then you have those content producers who take no pride whatsoever in their work and are quick to assign it a value of absolute zero by giving it away to the first pair grubby cum stained hands to reach out for it.

Lastly there are those who out of ignorance or pure desperation turn to the tubes because nothing else seems to work anymore.

For that last group I actually feel bad.

Because if your business model is affiliate-based and you have thousands of affiliates but notice that very few who are not tube-related are sending tiny amounts of traffic and joins then guess what? You work with those affiliates that are actually SENDING SALES.

As I have stated many, many times here and elsewhere: please show me TODAY in 2014 how I can get 10k+ visitors a day to one of my paysites WITHOUT those hits coming from a tube site and I will absolutely and gladly focus on those traffic sources.

Crickets.

Sure, review sites and gallery submitters and TGP owners and blog writers send me sales too, but not in the numbers tube sites do. And, as a business with responsibilities to my
partners, I simply cannot survive on the small number of joins my non-tube affiliates send me. There's your reason.

Also: I am working on my own traffic sources including a new tubesite model and idea. Once back from the Euro shows in Oct. that project will kick into high gear and we will see then how many content providers will come on board.

Yeah I'm curious to see what your plans are on this new tube idea. I'm surprised to hear you get so many sales from tube traffic, For me search engine, tgp's reviews etc all brought more sales at a much better ratio. I don't make 10K a day, maybe that is why....lol

Many programs claiming to have exclusive content simply do not. If an affiliate markets via other methods than tubes it is difficult to sell worn out non-exclusive content. Many programs have to use tubes because tubes attract the lowest common denominator of which there appears to be no shortage of these days.

Most tubes are scams. Go figure. Welcome to the porn biz.

Horrible sales from tubesites. Why would anyone expect better? !00,000 free videos often full length across all genre's to sell shit traffic to the guys they are stealing from.

It's ridiculous. Building you're own freetube with comparable quality isn't a bad idea but good luck with traffic if you're not a full on thief.

This business is hanging itself all because we let every dirtbag in to sell us shitty tube traffic from stolen content.

Every time a content producer goes down because some cocksucker stole his shit and made it available for free an angel cries. Shitty ad companies will put themselves out of a job. It's a no win situation as it stands. Any way you slice, dice, chop or chew it free=0 dollars.

I am surprised people that live on this board daily continue to ask this Same question.

JT has posted numerous times he has built his ENTIRE BUSINESS from tube traffic and he is doing over 1 million a month in sales. Pretty much sums up why others are trying it...

Porn Nerd has said many times, and is saying it again, he makes more sales from the tubes than any other traffic source he has.

Why do content owners look to tubes for traffic? Maybe they are not good at SEO. Maybe they're not happy with 100 sales a month from review sites, tgp owners and bloggers. Maybe their site is very niche and they think it will do well.

It has also been said many times you cannot just throw up some videos and send surfers to your everyday tour and expect sales. The successful companies optimize for tube traffic daily. They do not throw shit at the wall and hope it sticks.

You might also try going to google and doing a search for a term, any term. Tell me what comes up.... tubes. People market or try to market via them because they have the traffic. 10 years ago everyone bent over backwards to get links on WorldSex, TheHun and so on. It's nature to seek out traffic for your content/site... ok not nature, it's essential in order to make sales and survive.

If you spend time with those tube site owners, they will tell you what sells best for them - build relationships with them and talk to them and see - you will be surprised. I have dealt with some of the biggest ones out there since Tube sites started and while everyone keeps saying there is no money to be made, there IS money to be made - but you, as the sponsor, has to be willing to talk with them - MOST know their sites and know what converts and what sells - you CANNOT put a sologirl ding the same old boring thing on a hardcore site and expect it to sell all that well - and I could show you stats of this very thing - but I won't because of the sponsors and their own privacy - but it just is what it is and you can scream and yell about them taking all of your content and you making nothing, or you can work with them and make money WITH them and because of them.

I don't mean to be nasty here, but I have been dealing with them for as long as they have been around and it isn't always about what is free and what you are giving away, you can give away your whole members area - someone is always going to buy memberships somewhere!! But it HAS to convert and it is beneficial to the TUBE OWNERS to sit with you and make sure you give them what sells, otherwise, you are eating their bandwidth as well and getting nothing from it.

Work with them - just find one and work with that one - get to know what their site sells and how best to get them the videos they need and see the results - they may seem very bossy and picky, but they know what they are doing!!

This is just MY experience, not everyone's!
