Bryce 3D isn´t very powerful from my experience. I went to school to learn Maya and XSI... XSI just crashes way too much for my liking.. hmm.. but.. Maya... is it. Look at all the motion pictures that use maya.

yeah i haven't touched bryce 3d in a LONG time.. .but to my knowlege you can't really even model anything with bryce... maya is the best way to go.. its the most complex / advanced to my knowledge. for that 3d pipe thing in that design i showed ya, i did that w/ 3dsmax.

Bryce can be used for modeling now.

In fact, Bryce was used in both Final Fantasy, and the new Star Wars movies.

However, Maya is the more powerful tool, and you can do a hell of a lot more with Maya than Bryce.

I love Maya, always have. Only other program I have used that beats it is Soft Image.

Nice work

Mac

Maya is the name of the animation software used by Square USA to produce 'Final Fantasy.' You may have seen Maya used before: the 3D models of 'Antz,' 'A Bug's Life,' 'Toy Story,' were all built with Maya.
