PiracyIsACrime.com auction at DropCatch.com

PiracyIsACrime.com is being auctioned off at DropCatch.com
Auction ends: Thursday
Current Bid: $59

Great domain for someone to setup a PSA.

Before one of you idiots complains about this thread being in the wrong section, the domain isn't mine and I have nothing to do with it.

Actually it's worth at least $59 since that is what someone is willing to pay. No worries though, as nobody takes you seriously anyway.

j/k You're a stand up guy yourself.

you know what s funny with those fucking auctions from namebright, namejet, snapnames, if that domain was listed on those 220$ nobody will have bought it at that price or who knows, probably in 5 years to have a luck to get a guy which really needed and paid those money.

this shit applies to other domains, domains which you can find on sedo on lower prices all the time of the year yet very rare somebody pays the correct price but with auctions or pre releases/pending delets? nooo, the price is almost all the time much higher then somebody would have paid for it if it was listed for sale.

it s very funny what bidding competition makes from people, everything becomes irrational

Or you wind up bidding against people like "halvarez", or thinking major entities that bid up 50-80% of all drop auctions are actually paying full price.

Yes and any auction house has a halvarez, they just changing names from time to time.

Not long ago, a pre release domain adultonline.com was on auction at namejet, around 60 bidders when the 3 day private auction start and in the first 2 days i don t remember that someone had bid more then 200-300 bucks.

And in the last day, guess what, at the end of the auction, the domain reached around 2.5k usd lol because of the bidding war.

Now the winner thinks himself he is somehow a big shot and puts the domain for sale on 3k on sedo to make a fast flip and he waits...and waits...nothing happens.

Puts it on gfy or some other forum and notices that he didn t receives more 1.5k-2k max after a real struggle with the low balers.

He still thinks that people are stupid and don t realize what a great name he has so he decides to wait longer on sedo with his price.

6month-1year passes and nothing! now he changes the status from buy now to make an offer and notices the low ball game starts again but this time on sedo, twice per week he received 60 bucks minimum bid and from to time he receives a "Serious" offer of 500 bucks.

Now he really starts to doubt by the price he paid for the domain and, in a desperate situation he lowers it at 800-1000 bucks and after 2 months, finally someone pays those money, he takes it and shuts the fuck up
