I have a mini laptop with an 11" touchscreen running Windows 8.1. The touchscreen seemed a useful feature at first, but then I learned keyboard shortcuts. Replace flick, poke, flick, flick, poke with the windows key and something else. The only time I touch the screen these days is to flick the wakeup screen away.
