Depends on what exactly you call so. If TGP2 means classic TGP mixed with CJ (TGP with a traffic skim), then yes, that's a very old thing. But if you are talking about new TGP evolution into pinboards and other trendy formats, then that's another story ;)

I know this board has no smart leaders or anyone with any real affiliate skills so Ill let it slide.

To build a tgp now, you need a cms, trade script and alrya or a custom gallery builders.

More too it than that, but its a start.

I had a completely internal TGP2 once. I had around 100 "galleries," each gallery featured a different girl and had five pictures, each picture on its own page with proper SEO. It did well.

I don't think the idea of mass submitting TGP2 galleries etc. was ever going to work, it goes against what that surfer market is looking for. However if you built a site like I had, with quality and SEO in mind (which all sites should have) it should do okay.

TGP2. Pretty funny in these days of tube sites that people were yelling about "too much free porn" on TGPs and trying to get people to switch to TGP2 way back when. God, how things have degenerated.

A "TGP2" was a dumb idea that failed back 15 years ago. It was essentially a TGP with no full nudity or sex in any of the picture galleries.

I'm not really sure what you are asking about.

I THINK you might be asking about TGP's that have thumbnails on the page for each gallery?
TGP's were originally text links to galleries.

A few years back several TGP's started using thumbs on the main page for each gallery.

We didn't do it at the time because we were worried about 2257 laws and being a "secondary producer" etc., etc

Once that lawyer-generated scare tactic bullshit faded away...a lot of TPG's went with thumbnails for each gallery.

I recently did the same. But finding the software to do so is a real bitch. Since TGP's are dead in comparison to what they once were...the companies that made that software haven't made it in years.

I'm now using Wordpress with the "Adult Gallery Press" plugin

It has some bugs here and there...but I figured out how to make it work correctly.

TGP2 would have worked if everybody joined in. It's the same when all tubes would limit their videos to 3 minutes max and we would all be rich again. However it will never work as there will be always people not joining and taking all your traffic ;)

The idea of TGP2 was to not give all the content away... maybe 10-20 thumbs with only 5 clickable.

Much better than the model we have today.

Problem was, tgp owners wanted the whole gallery, rules were strict. TGP2 sites had way too little traffic so submitters bailed, aiming for the high traffic that came with submitting to the original TGPs.

I recently did the same. But finding the software to do so is a real bitch. Since TGP's are dead in comparison to what they once were...the companies that made that software haven't made it in years. I'm now using Wordpress with the "Adult Gallery Press" plugin http://www.adultgallerypress.com/ It has some bugs here and there...but I figured out how to make it work correctly. Here are my TPG's using it: http://shavedgoat.com http://grampland.com I haven't done any real design work on either site yet because I'm busy inputting galleries into the queue to run everyday. Much better than the model we have today. Problem was, tgp owners wanted the whole gallery, rules were strict. TGP2 sites had way too little traffic so submitters bailed, aiming for the high traffic that came with submitting to the original TGPs.

It only took me 30 seconds to convert a tgp gallery to a tgp2 gallery then submit it to the tgp2 pool so it was definitively worth it __________________ BitUnix - My favorite place to trade crypto!
