best DV camera for shooting content?
I need to get a DV cam for shooting content, I'm tired of hiring directors and then having them rent the equipment.
can anyone make a suggestion as to which high-end DV camera is the best for indoor and outdoor use? |

I ordered a vx2000.
After research it seems to be the best cam in that price area. |

they were renting the camera? uh..........you sure they weren't trying to put one over on you dig and trying to pad the expenses.
unless they were renting some really high end pro camera sounds weird. these guys who shoot porn have their own cameras, like a GL2 or VX2000.

nah I got all receipts of course.
what happens is that you use a director who normally works with a production company, which supplies all equipment. when they work outside the company you have to supply lights, location and equipment when necessary. Unless you're shooting frequently it makes more sense to rent the stuff, it's not that expensive. |
