We hear that there?s a new building on campus, so many of those people are getting moved physically, as well ? not necessarily due to Gundotra?s departure.

As part of these staff changes, the Google Hangouts team will be moving to the Android team, and it?s likely that the photos team will follow, these people said. Basically, talent will be shifting away from the Google+ kingdom and towards Android as a platform, we?re hearing.

We?ve heard Google has not yet decided what to do with the teams not going to Android, and that Google+ is not ?officially? dead, more like walking dead: ?When you fire the top dog and take away all resources it is what it is.? It will take copious amounts of work for it to un-zombie, if that?s even a possibility.

I have to admit it was a little bit tricky at first but you soon get the hang of it. It drives a fair bit of traffic to my sites.

I had it working well - I stuck with no nudity - Then after my 4th suspended account I gave up...

We need a good adult friendly social site to get some real traction.....

I agree, it's disorganized and difficult to use as a social platform. And I can say that even if I didn't use it with the intent of pushing traffic. With traffic efforts, I'm willing to invest time and energy to get it rolling. If I was solely doing G+ as a social network, I'd forget it.

I never even tried with Google Plus. I'm sorry, but I can't jump on the bandwagon with every new social media site that goes online. I just don't have that kind of free time.

One fuck up was incorporating it into Youtube. No one wants their real name posted in youtube comments.

Google has too many things going on and may end up going the way of Yahoo. Dead properties everywhere.

I hope they realize that they can't BE the whole internet. They won't realize this of course and are still trying to take over the world. But, I am happy at this failure on their part.

Fuck G+

It's the main thing making me think about quitting youtube.

My youtube account is fucked up, I keep getting logged out and then put into a second account that youtube created for me when they forced my account into g+

I'm always in the wrong account after I log in and have switch to the correct account.

It has really ruined my youtube experience.

This stupid "link all accounts" means you have no idea of what information you are actually showing online.

Google Hangouts is getting popular, especially as it can do live broadcasts on youtube, also it is preinstalled in Android and no way to deinstall it except with rooted phone and utils

Too complicated for the average Joe. Hangouts is the main thing keeping it alive. Even google glass doesn't properly work with it. Good luck to get the video uploading of the glass working with it
