I was summoned for jury duty a couple years ago, since I was self-employed I got out of it by saying I could not take the time off work. They asked for a couple phone numbers of companies I worked with to verify I was self-employed and that was it.

I've always wanted to serve on a jury, but have never been called. I'm a registered voter, I've got a driver license, it's not like they don't know I'm here.

Wonder if it's a height thing? (I'm only 4'11")

are you sure it's not one of those sting operations like when they send out registered mail for people to come to a certain location to pick up their prize from a sweepstakes. Would be too funny to show up and it be a big bust . . .

theres a term you could say during the juror interview thing, something along the lines that you dont believe anyone is guilty. usually the prosuector would dismiss you. ill try looking up the word for ya.
