Article is a bit long but I thought it was interesting. Google's changing emphasis on lobbying and playing politics. Not going to get any easier for small players on the Internet anytime soon

Accepting campaign donations in return for political favors should be illegal. In fact, it should be a constitutional amendment.

Thanks for posting, that is an interesting article. Google has their hands in so many lucrative and very influential/powerful areas, it's kind of frightening when you sit down and list everything out. We're reaching a point where dominant corporations that deal primarily in "Information" are going to rival the clout of those who deal in the established power-brokering fields like energy (Big Oil), food (Monsanto, etc), and medicine. It's going to be a society-changing dynamic, already started to a point...

The Supreme Court JUST ruled on this and only take a super narrow specific definition for money corrupting politics. It's ridiculous.
