No way to tell,and should be taken with reserve. There are so many faked things and scenarios that it is not important actually (for normal people that don't believe to medias easily). How I see it,only way that this can be relevant is that they show him on TV and prove his identity.

We all know that secret services are doing all this mess. In a same way Maydan was organized by western services, Crimea overtake was done by Russians. Simple as that. Such big things can't be spontaneous and who believe in that probably have huge lack of life experience .

What bothers me more is that Ukrainians are sending some kind of army (what I saw are old transporters and very old tanks) to Donetsk. This can ignite war and Russian invasion. Current "government" (not elected but came by force and representing only one % of people) are bunch or naive and stupid guys. Their idiotic moves lead to Crimea being lost, and if they are listening same boss ( and they do), next will be loosing of more territories.

Savages, nazis and non educated bunch of people (it is crazy how Ukrainian parliament looks like and how primitive they act toward each other) simply can't lead good state policy, especially if they are between superpowers.

First obvious question is "why think its real"? Just because a guy said in bad English "i'm a US Citizen"? An obvious clue that it is not real is that they made no attempt to take his mask off, stand him up and force him to talk and identify himself. Post his face online and he'll be identified in minutes. So it seems there was an interest in not positively identifying him which of course, makes zero sense in that situation and given the "outrage" they are all pretending to express. Also... he speaks Russian/Ukrainian to get a job like that... but answered in English? How convenient.

i've seen enough Russian propaganda in my life to know that nothing out of that region can be trusted or believed. All you can look at are the known facts. He was trying to say he's wounded. Not winded. and his exact words were that it sounded like he said in Russian,, look look.. then he said in English "he's wounded fuck" and he was clearly a Russian speaker.
