If I get you down, I don't wait for you to get back up, I take advantage of your inferior position. A street fight is not a fight with a referee. A person you let get up could turn things around and kill you.

Maybe he threw one two many punches, but definitely not two too many...it was the heat of moment and once you get in a fight, you're in a fight. It looked like a pretty normal fight.
