In Europe employees get paid decently so they don't rely on tips for their income...
Europeans are just not that aware of the concept of tips...

Czechs are definitely cheaper than Germans, if they tip, they pay 580 crowns when the bill is 574 (and 20 crowns = $1)
and like it was said above: in Europe the concept of tipping is very different compared to the US. I would never ever get the idea to give someone money because he opened a door or called me a taxi
but when it comes to negotiating deals or getting the most for the money, the Germans are definitely good with thatComment

I don't know what gave the world the stereotype bullshit of Dutch being cheap. Like the concept of "dutch bill", etc... doesn't even exist here in Holland. We never let girls pay "their" share when going out. Not even on a first date... which... i believe... is not uncommon in America.
To me personal accepting tips is cheap... I would feel pretty embarrassed to receive a tip.
Like i'm some shoe-shiner or something... "Didn't i tell ya? Oh i didn't go up there and tell ya... i don't shine shoes anymore". What's also cheap is a whole fucking nation getting paid so shitty they rely on tips or two jobs to get their fucking bills paid... While their business owners shamelessly show the wealth they acquired over the backs of their slaves.
