I think its all a conspiracy between governments and certain large media organizations.. terrorists and their attacks serve 2 purposes..

1. give politicians like bush, blair, putin, chirac etc something for their voters to focus on, make them appear to be the great international crusaders for whatever cause is the flavour of the day while taking attention away from real issues such as the economy..

2. create millions of avid viewers for cnn/fox etc who just can't tear themselves away in case they miss some major event like 9/11 or Gulf War 2

ABC national news last night had an in depth piece that indicated the U.S. had credible information as to Bin Laden's GENERAL whereabouts..in a province that is right on the border with Iran (Not Afganistan). They also found it interesting that the CIA director just HAPPENED to be in Pakistan right now.

No, they haven't gotten him now, but it APPEARS that they have their first significant leads in a long time. But I do agree it's pretty STUPID to go public and announce this information on the media..if it is indeed true.

I think Bush is glad that the Sept 11 thing happened, that gave him a chance to be like his father and have a reason to fuck with iraq

According to Israel Radio, US President Bush is expected to announce the capture of arch-terrorist Osama Bin Laden.

An intelligence official in Islamabad, Pakistan, said that US and Pakistani intelligence agencies are tightening the noose around Bin Laden's hideout, which is believed to be in the Baluchistan province of Pakistan on the border with Iran.

Bush is expected to give a speech from the White House at 03:00 Israel time.
