His detractors, that have access to zero data about the results of his test, seem to think they have more knowledge than him to make their grand claims. Whereas JT looked at the evidence and reacted to what it told him.

Now if he had looked at the evidence and ignored it, and carried on accepting Bitcoin so that he could hang with the cool kids, now that would be the mark of a real fool.

Ruseful why don't you provide your affiliates with better hosted videos like the ones you upload to the tubes? Why should surfers bother buying from us when they can get much better content on the tubes?

The last time I said no was months ago and I often do change my mind :) A lot has changed now so I'd be willing to look into just what's needed from our side. We have fallen short in the support of our affiliates, that's very evident, but if I take one thing from this thread, it was Shap's comment about going after the 5-10% revenues! and I see potentially more by actually giving the affiliates what they really need.

That statement will sound pathetic I know, but as I alluded in my earlier post, I came into the Paysites business with a sole purpose of making use of the little knowledge I had of the adult industry. And that was monetizing the tubes, not in the support of affiliates. But now is a good time for me to learn, and with your help, I'll try and get you the tools you need.

The launch of my new Affiliate Program, Eleganxia Bucks, will show you (and anyone else interested) in what we'll be doing from now on with affiliates and tools. My current setup, Porn Nerd Cash, hasn't been updated in awhile since I've been focusing on the new Eleganxia Network (launching in 2 weeks). But before, I would give affs what I THOUGHT they needed: 2 minute clips, 30 second clips, etc. But after doing this for a few years, and considering how the landscape has changed since 2010, I'll be giving out full videos.

Well, the same "edited full" videos I give the tubes. After all, the biggest tube sites ARE affiliates and they get 6-10 minute clips so why shouldn't your average every day affiliate get the same thing? Many of them run smaller tubes who need those "full" clips, too.

There's nothing wrong with Porn Nerd Cash. This new affiliate program is a more 'focused' collection of erotic-only HD sites (as opposed to a giant network of PORN). LOL

Eleganxia is a play on elegancia, latin for Elegant. So not really that odd. Maybe spanish-speakers can yell it in a club. :) Plus, it has an X in it! I'm so clever....:D

I was personally a little stunned to see this. Why would you use a domain name that stands little to zero chance of people typing it in or typing the correct word in a search engine... much less, remembering it or even speaking it?

If you have nothing invested in the name yet, just change it. However, even if you have invested in it and you really want to keep that name...

Interesting read. Since testing for the past 3 weeks, our results are somewhat better. 40SomethingMag went from 1:718 to 1:599; XLGirls went from 1:713 to 1:633; Scoreland went from 1:562 to 1:454. February isn't a great month to test change of options, specially with shorter month and V-day right smack in the middle, but even so, our results were not so bad.

Ding, ding, ding! Voice of reason, is reasonable ;) This option is obviously not meant to be used across the board.

So as usual the advice is that some stuff works for some people and tanks for others - you just have to test it and see.

Although you say your ratios improved, but not whether any revenue came in directly through Bitcoin.

Let's wait and see the sites themselves then people can judge. I've shown the name to MANY "non-porn" people and they loved it.

The affiliate program name however I am willing to change - it was done quickly to have something in place when I began this. But Eleganxia people can pronounce. LOL Think 'Elegance..ia. Not that hard and many Spanish-speakers know that word.

And both those sites have earned millions in revenue over the past 4 years. Type-ins? Through the roof. UNIQUENESS sells, even if it's a made-up word. In time, with branding, people "get it". So I hold my own council when it comes to naming things.

PS: Affiliates will be promoting the 4 HD sites in the Network, NOT "Eleganxia" itself.

The difference is in doing things where one looks at little details and seeing that they either offer you another small advantage, or another small disadvantage.

That's actually a main reason for doing this new network. It won't have the word 'porn' in it anywhere, and many affs who want to promote 'erotic'-style content won't do so if the word PORN is splattered everywhere.

When the sites launch you will see the attention to detail and how this new operation is more 'focused' than Porn Nerd Network (which is going strong and will continue to grow).

I still believe having something unique and differant works well in this over-saturated 'free porn' environment.

On a related note, newly added options can also drive users to use other less-used options particularly when the price differs. Ive seen this happen over and over again over the years.

Any idea of bitcoin targeted traffic? Did you market for additional traffic?

Meaning... is it at *all* possible your normal traffic shot to say 1:1500 but then targeted bit traffic brought the ratio back down to lower then average?

p.s. I looked at your pre-join page and it, to me, is set up very well. Nice and compact and easy to follow. Default to credit card join and text not too big.

Well I will consider a new Affiliate Program name (if I can come up with one) since I never liked 'Eleganxia Bucks' to begin with. I threw it up there because I was working on six websites simultaneously. For now it's just a domain and a Header so easily changeable. :)

BTW: Proven affiliates are already promoting the 'SD' versions of these websites now and making bank so they will signup to promote the HD versions, too. :thumbsup
