It makes the whole system seem flaky.

You also have to wonder how it will ever work with the ten minutes to confirm. It will never be used in real life in its current form.

It seems that every time there is a large stash, one "bad actor" makes off with it in an "isolated incident" that never affects the "bright future". I wonder what the solution will be, if any.

There's very little incentive for new folks to get involved here. You have a bunch of early BC folks just sitting on their little leprechaun buckets waiting to become millionaires. What that means is the rest of the people who buy in +/- 300.00 are left holding the bag. The upside is much less attractive to those people. This is a dog that does not hunt from a financial standpoint.

Seeric, you're absolutely wrong. You're looking at it from only an investment standpoint.

What about anonymous spending, people generally don't like all their privacy issues being abused like the US gov't loves to do to it's people. I actually deleted my facebook years ago for this exact reason. PRIVACY! That is a huge reason Bitcoin is going to "make it" in the world.

Aside from that, avoiding the millions (or billions) of dollars per year bank fee's. Feels good avoiding that bullshit

Me too edgeprod, wish I bought more at that mid/low-$400's yesterday too, anyone with sense or interest in good investment opportunity should have known to buy in that time

Likewise - if you are able to trade the delta successfully you have my admiration. I'll do it the old fashioned "produce value or efficiency" way.

It's not rocket science. Every time there's a big dip due to Chicken Little BS, there's a dramatic recovery due to irrational exuberance. Play both sides of the idiot game, LOL.

I understand - a shade of buy low sell high. Your strategy is momentum volatility trading. Very nice with the current dramatic environment.

Gosh, I bought yesterday at $422 and sold today at 558. I guess that's what this is all about. Is anyone getting this yet? Porn is dead, long live Bitcoin.
