most people think tubes are full of stolen stuff - meanwhile the most big ones license tons of content for their purposes

from time to time i find my stuff on illegal tubes, but mostly in really bad quality and just a few here and there

meanwhile i find full collections of our content on boards/filelockers in full quality

for me there is no doubt whats worse

I fully support your anti-piracy effort, in fact I'll make a donation in the future, but to say file lockers are worse than tubes is laughable.

Stream any video dating 6 years back. No downloads, just come, fap and go.

File Lockers:
-Download videos which are usually split into 6 parts and may take hours with a side order of malware/virus
-Links usually dead in 2 months after upload

Which option do you think a casual surfer would choose?

If you combined the traffic of every single FL, it still wouldn't scratch the surface of the biggest tube site.

I think worse can be interpreted different ways. Nobody gave a fuck about password sites when we were trying to make TGP2 a thing so people would stop getting 16 WHOLE PICS IN A SINGLE SET WITHOUT ADS AROUND THE FULL SIZE IMAGES. It's wrong, yes, but the real numbers on porn piracy are negligible. It's like the most savvy 1% of the market who isn't likely to be suckered into a paysite as it is, while 98% of the market is savvy enough to know that full length porn videos are free, instantly accessible and totally legal. Pirates are shameless and blatant, but ultimately producers give most people more than what they want for free.

It's going to be tough bringing them down when sponsors are actively supporting them by making them affiliates. That was the one edge we had but now producers are jumping right into bed with the people who have been stealing from the industry for years. You can't feed a wild animal hoping it will eventually go away.

The tubes severely damaged the affiliate model and hurt the people who helped them make a lot of money over the years.

Thieves will always justify their actions in the belief that everyone steals.

The largest tubes license bucket loads of content, just because you can watch it for free doesn't mean it's copyright infringing. You will find some pirated content on the largest tubes, but not at the scale, breadth and depth of the file locker eco-system.

The top 10 file lockers carry full site rips in addition to huge amounts of video and other content, they all have huge traffic.
