50 yo mammas!

Vendzilla 01-31-2014 12:07 PM

After 5 minutes I wanted to change the channel, he was up there saying how much he had done to improve things, like the millions of new jobs. Just more lies and then he went into how he was willing to go around Congress to get things done. Guess he doesn't care about the constitution much.
Then you see all the democrats that are now pissed at him and that MSNBC had to apologize yet again for the shit they are saying, just racial shit coming from the left
http://news.yahoo.com/republicans-de...3--sector.html

If Obama actually worked with the GOP, things would get done, moderates don't really exist anymore it seems and any bullshit little thing the GOP does is blown out of proportion by the left leaning media. They tried too hard to bury Christie about a traffic jamb. He actually has done a lot for his state!

I can't help but laugh at the Obamapologists who try to say this problem was so big that it's gonna take 20 years to sort out...

BULLSHIT.

We never even went into a recession. Much less a depression.

The housing market bubble burst. Period. Caused a domino effect on banks that held the mortgages.

This is the slowest economic recovery from a non-recession EVER. Guess whose fault that is folks?

20 years? LOL. The Great Depression didn't take that long to recover from.

Reagan inherited a REAL depression along with an OPEC induced "oil shortage" and somehow was able to work WITH the Democrat controlled House and Senate and get the country kicking ass within 2 years.

Obama himself (I saw the interview replayed on MSNBC this morning) sat down with Matt Lauer on his 2nd week in office in 2009 and said if he didn't turn the economy around in 3 years his presidency would be a "one term proposition"

And then...only a couple of months later...he pivoted to: ObamaCare
That's when I said: WTF?!?!?!?!?!
Why wasn't he focusing of the economy and jobs?

And the Obamapologists came out in droves saying that "Health Care" was hurting our economy and was crucial to "fixing" the economy because people were spending too much of their income on it.
Does nobody remember that nonsense?

And those same people on GFY are now saying: "Oh, health care costs more now? Of course it does! We all KNEW that all along".

The effect that Obama has on some of you people is just plain out insanity.
Or as Chris Matthews said: He gets a "tingle" down the inside of his leg when Obama speaks. lol

The Great Recession began as a national recession in United States in December 2007, but only met the IMF criteria for being a global recession, requiring a decline in annual real World GDP per‑capita (Purchasing Power Parity weighted), in the single calendar year 2009.

The "Great Recession" also known as the LESSER Recession.

It was nothing like what I saw in the late 1970's. With the gas crisis and inflation running at 11.3% and by 1980 inflation was at 13.5%
If that happened now...our country would go under all the way.

I got my drivers license in 1977. And I remember only being able to get gas on even days (according to your tag number) in Florida and waiting in lines that went down the street to try and get some.

The only people making money back then were folks who HAD money to begin with.
The interest rates were at 12% and above. I remember that very well because my grandparents had a million dollars in different bank CD's that they were getting monthly big ass checks from.

But the "normal" people were suffering hard.

Then the 1980 "real" recession happened.
"Employment conditions deteriorated throughout 1980. The unemployment rate in the U.S. , reached 10.8% in December 1982 ”higher than at any time in post-war era. , Job cutbacks were particularly severe in housing, , steel and automobiles. , By September 1982, , the jobless rate reached 10.8%. , Twelve million people were unemployed, , an increase of 4.2 million people since July 1981. , Unemployment rates for every major group reached post-war highs, , with men age 20 and over particularly hard hit."

42 banks FAILED. It was a nightmare.

By 1984 the country was pretty much completely turned around. Reagan took office in 1981. The recession was already a year old when he came in.

The policies that he and the Democrat Congress and Senate COMPROMISED on turned the country back around in 3 years and set a course for a pretty nice run of prosperity.

Pres. Obama is now in his 5th year. And his 5th year of saying that this would be the "Summer of Recovery"

At some point, people are going to have to realize that there is a reason he jumped to "Health Care" at the beginning of his Presidency instead of the economy. And that recently he tried to deflect and pivot to "Immigration Reform" instead of the economy.

In my humble opinion...it's because he doesn't have a clue.

I think Obama would have been a GREAT President if he had come in at a time of prosperity. I think going for a single pay health plan would have been awesome and he was the guy who was popular enough to have pulled it off.
Also his nudging of the social issues (pro-gay, etc.) would have been great.

But he is just the absolute wrong guy to turn the country around.

I'm of the belief, at this point, that we will see this economy bloom about a year after Obama leaves office.
He has lost the confidence of anyone with any financial clout. He has lost the confidence of the people. And he has zero chance in hell of being able to work with Congress and the Senate.

He's like the earliest "lame duck" ever.

Really? Because unemployment shot up to nearly 11% and half the houses on my block were deserted.

Call it what you want, but this is not something that is going to be fixed in four or eight years. "The middle class is worth less". Well, yes - they lost their house and every dime they had invested, and it's STILL not Obama's fault.

I got my DL in 76 and it was California

I think Obamacare has done more to hurt the economy than anyone will let on. Business's are not hiring because of the unknown, Obamacare is such a cluster fuck that business is afraid of expanding with more employee's

You know the answer to this. As long as there are big contributions from companies who make their goods in china nothing will happen.

Remember when Harley Davidson got a special tariff on Japanese motorcycles above 750cc's so they could catch up and be successful? They ended up doing so well that they asked congress to end the tariff a head of schedule!!

It's too bad. He's a nice and seemingly intelligent guy when he's not trolling a message board.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out the thrill that people get out of trolling.

I've added a few names to my ignore list too. But someone has to keep the answer man honest, so I'll not add him. But I can clearly understand why you did.
