Is "Save Target As" traffic still considered 404 on the server?
Just wondering what exactly denotes 404, or if this is based on server implementation...

A 404 is a page not found. Simply put, that error happens when a server could deliver the page (ie the request didn't generate a 401) but the requested page is not present and there is no content moved directed.
