To those that say it's been one, two months or more that they have not received any money from websitebilling.com, I ask 2 questions:

1)WTF are you still doing using them? (If you are). There are great alternatives like ccbill, epoch, and acpay for example (and thankfully!).
2)Have you started legal action against them. 2-4 weeks working out a payroll problem is understandable in some cases..but not TWO MONTHS! As some of you have posted, your creditors don't give a fuck about your billing problem, they want THEIR debts paid NOW! And you have every right to demand PAYMENT NOW from WSB!

I know it's a hassle to get legally involved with businesses, but sometimes the situation just demands it. And I think if WSB knew several webmasters were comming after them on that score, you might actually FINALLY see your money!

I dont think it would make a diff. I sent them legal email(my lawer set it up) demanding full payout or legal action would would taken. They never responded, that was a week ago.

they were a momnth behinf biught caught up.

I see the next check amount in my stats..

All is good..

I have 0 chargebacks.. maybe the customers with many chargebacks are the ones they are holding out on?

You feel that this is a success story? "it all worked out in the end." is something that you are satisified with. Ok, I guess all of us can just tell creditors.."Wait for 3 months or so on this overdue bill will you please, it'll all work out in the end." I'm sure they'll be just as understanding. I'm amazed sometimes by how gracious some webmasters can be. Call me old fashioned, but when my pay check is due, I expect it to be paid on time.

Carment sent me another one and even tacked on 50 dollars to cover the nsf charge. I never expected that!

Actually, so do we. Many people don't know that we also provide merchant accounts via certain relationships and gateway for them. In fact you can merge the 3rd party and your own merchant account together. For instance you can set limits on your merchant account and it will then roll over onto ours, daily, weekly or monthly. It will also roll over by risk profile, if you don't want to take sales on your account from Nigeria but the WSB account thinks it can handle it, sale saved. We can also spread your risk round-robin style if you like. We can even dynamically adjust it based on your current sale rate and chargeback exposure. Scary, eh?
We also gateway for checks, various dialers and 900 if you require a direct relationship, and the same rollover technical funtionality is present for that also.
This of course all ties into our affiliate programs and partner programs, and depending on your reseller volume customer service is a free service.

I'm sorry Mitch, I hate comparing dick length in public, but you act like you're the latest best solution for everyone. You were never first to think of it, and in my biased opinion you're not the best at it. But hey, I'm sure you don't believe me. The fact is many of the billers offer this kind of thing, they just don't target it at the adult market because it's a hassle most adult webmasters don't need or want. It's always there though people if you want it.

You're a vulture selling in a thread where a company has a problem. Well WSB will finish paying what it owes this week, and go back to growing all areas of our business. What it will never do is sell one of your customers on a public message board if you have any problems. It couldn't sink that low.

They over me over 10K I think
I pay for my traffic and if they take much longer to pay me they'll have a problem.
For now I'm making other people hgappy with me traffic until they learn how to pay on time.
Having trouble to pay?
No roblem.
I can wait a few weeks.
When it takes months I get annoyed.

Put pressure on the processor and put pressure on the affiliate program. Pull your links within days of non-payment, not weeks or months. They are still legally obligated to pay you, whether or not you are still promoting them. And if they don't, well at least you aren't throwing good money after bad.

This type of practice by WSB would not be acceptable in the mainstream world...so don't allow it to be acceptable just because you are working in the adult arena. And don't waste time with the Police, Attorney General, etc....call a collection agency. You lose a portion of the payment..but you have a good chance of collecting on the balance.

And don't threaten. Take action!!

I'm also dealing with wannabe lawyers who deserve themselves to get sued for spouting such silly crap it beggars belief. Starting legal proceedings against a company that has already agreed that you are owed and is working to pay you is not bright. Please remember you're being paid commission by WSB on behalf of someone else. It's all academic anyway, you're getting paid.

I'm also dealing with a fellow billing professional who predicts the end of the world everytime someone coughs. He's the only one of all the represented billing companies on all message boards to my knowledge to do this. I don't think it's very nice and I wouldn't do it to him, that's all.

Let me take this opportunity, it's the final thing I'm going to post here. I'd like to make a public apology to all those hard working webmasters who've been caught up in this temporary problem. Between staffing issues, systems and banking glitches, which have now all been resolved, it's been a horrible month. It all went wrong at the same time. As a company that prides itself on it's communication and progressive developement with webmasters I'm disappointed with some of the current events. It doesn't stop my commitment to improve, and we will. Thank you to almost everyone who has had the patience to ride this episode out with us.

I just got off of the phone with the VP at WSB and was assured that we would be paid shortly.

One thing that people tend to forget is that this is a *high risk* industry and often you should be grateful that somebody is willing to *TRY* to pay you.. rather than simply disconnecting their telephone.

JMHO. Believe me when I say that everybody here would be the first to know if WSB failed to pay us.

Dolcett --- I'm looking in to who my brother was using for his 3rd party processor. His site was as *extreme* in nature as yours, maybe moreso, and in the 4 years his site was up I saw very little in the way of problems. I'll let you know what I find out.

And I'm sorry, but if there isn't a WSB cheque in the mail come Monday, Tuesday at the latest,... I'm going to have to pull my links and find another sponsor for that traffic. If, however, you do switch processors or the cheque arrives, we can continue to work together and I will increase the traffic I'm currently sending you.

Again, sorry, but WSB is leaving very little choice. At the end of the day promises don't mean shit to my creditors.

My brother processed with them for 3 or 4 years, with his extreme fantasy fetishy site. He was quite satisfied with their level of service. I'm sure there are good and bad stories about any processor though, as is evident when anyone mentions Ibill, Epoch, CCbill etc.

Pull your links within days of non-payment, not weeks or months. They are still legally obligated to pay you, whether or not you are still promoting them. And if they don't, well at least you aren't throwing good money after bad. This type of practice by WSB would not be acceptable in the mainstream world...so don't allow it to be acceptable just because you are working in the adult arena. And don't waste time with the Police, Attorney General, etc....call a collection agency. You lose a portion of the payment..but you have a good chance of collecting on the balance. And don't threaten. Take action!!
