Why Can They Only Ever Kill 99.9% of Bacteria?

What's so hard about that that last 0.1%?

Serious question.

I was wondering this the other day myself. Way too much free time on my hands.

It's because if they ever get caught with something that it didn't kill, they can just say "that's the .01 percent we were talking about".

Its because they don't know about all bacteria yet, more are being discovered all the time.
You cannot kill 100% of bacteria if you don't know all of them.

Because .01% of bacteria aren't killed by alcohol. They feed on it.

It's better to not fuck any random bitch from the street than having no bacterias in your kitchen.

Kinda like hosting, 99.9% equals= 44 minutes 38 seconds of downtime a month so easier to achieve that without giving out service credits/refunds.

No the problem is that if the disinfectant ever failed they would get their asses sued off because the label says 100% and it was " Obvious " at that point it was an exaggeration to sell product.

That is what a rampant law suit happy country will do for you.

a better question would be: is killing 99.9% of all bacteria on your hands or mouth constantly a healthy move? Aside from surgery prep anyway.

my friend's dad is a neuro surgeon, he told me a while ago that the germ sanitizer things are ok but people that rely on them are actually hurting themselves. some of the bacteria we have on our hands is good bacteria, and you end up killing that stuff too.
