Tree in the front if my house came crashing down and took out my hydro line. So even when the power comes back on in the neighborhood. It wont for me. Its a shame because that tree must be over 60 years old.

We were mostly spared in Niagara region - only a few thousand lost power.

We lost hydro for a few hours Saturday night. Then it came back on around 6am just in time to make a coffee. Then went back out for a few hours later in the morning.

The storm was very selective how/where it hit.

Hope everyone affected is back to normal very soon.

here in NE Indiana we didn't get any of that but we did get a 8" storm about a week ago..

2 years ago in I think july we had a bad storm and we were without power for 36 hours. That sucked but now I have a generator if it happens again

Seen some pics from Toronto, yeah. You guys got it worse than us.

We have a massive 100yr old tree in the front yard. The canopy covers 4 houses, all the way across the street, too. Limbs were drooping damn low by Sunday morning. But things thawed by mid-afternoon...so we're out of jeopardy now.

Ice Storm

had that shit last year. The power lines set the trees on fire. Called the fire dept. Said call the power people as it wasn't their problem. Power people said not their problem, call the fire dept.

Looking for a country where they have no clue what snow is.

Fucking weather is being an asshole.

It's been in the teens and twentys and unusually snowy for over a month now, then it gets awesome out this weekend for 2 days around 65, then it goes right back to 30 degree weather today and when it was warm out, it rained the whole time..

Seeing snow flakes is cool but if it'll eventually turn to be a storm then I must say I wish there was no winter.

Come to Australia! We have a handful of mountains whose snow is so shit they have to artificially make it to make snowboarding worth while. Snow is rare as rocking horse shit everywhere else in the country.
of course, there are fires, floods, snakes, spiders, sharks and dogs that shoot bees from their mouths.
