Attention: Plugrush.com - fake traffic - GoFuckYourself.com

Hello guyz!

I'm posting this to warn you about buying popunders on plugrush.com. I have recently tried them out by buying around 10k traffic and I've found out that the majority of traffic is bot/fake traffic.

Almost 50% of traffic comes from one city which suggests IP spoofing at ISP.

Since the popunder traffic from PlugRush has very low bounce rate (71% - which is quite low for popunders) I've suspected that the bots stay on page for a little while and follow random internal urls on the site.

To test this theory I have created 2 hidden links (I put them in footer and set front color same as back color so they are not visible to regular users).

I've suspected the traffic from PlugRush was following those links as well.

Conclusion: PlugRush has around 60% fake traffic.

I suggest you not to buy traffic from PlugRush.com.

I figured this some time ago. I am not here to blame plugrush, but you should start reviewing accounts. It's shitty. Or maybe you are doing something shitty.

What exactly do you mean by reviewing accounts?

PlugRush should do better job in filtering the fake traffic and ban bot sites. The whole point of this post was to let other GFY users know. The whole porpuse of buying traffic there was to test if the traffic is good or not. And I'm just sharing what I figured out to others so they don't need to send bucks on testing it

exactly... that's about 3,14 or 2,42 percent of bot traffic on 10k sample...

I'm not here to prove anything... I just wrote this post to warn you guyz and post my findings to spare you some money. If you don't belive it then don't and your free to try it out yourself

If you think about it it's obvious.

Regarding different numbers... ofc, it's popunders. On Plugrush they do a burst of popunders (for example if u set 1k per hour u gonna get 1k in first minute which means that u got them fast and u will loose them fast... that's why there are different numbers).

Well they prove to at least some degree that Plugrush has a number of bots that are clicking links and engaging in unethical behavior: Tempe has a population of 3,000 - so unless you want to argue that 5% of the population were clicking on this guy's link, it's likely that the hits came from a bot, and thus, those who are using Plugrush to get hits should be wary.

You miss understood me. I am not accusing company of fraud but their lack of ability to filter out such traffic.

Ah, what you are really asking us to do is take your proof at face value? How about showing us what page you popped and all the numbers? I presume that at least, the page got zero traffic from other sources, since that would clearly pollute your test and render it very invalid.

Also when buying traffic - from any source - 10K isn't even going to get close to being something you can test with. Anyone that's an experienced media buyer will tell you that you must be prepared to spend thousands to test, filer and setup something that works.

PlugRush has plenty of highly productive traffic that works for many people, I just think your test is bogus tbh and like so many others, you run to GFY instead of working with the actual company to solve the problem.

Did you talk to PlugRush about this?

True. If his source is 100% cut off from any spiders. But yea, anyone that is buying traffic from any source should check and filter out the unproductive sources, this is pretty common knowledge

Man I wish I had seen this like 3 days ago. I just bough 8K of popunders from PR as a test for MFC thru Crak and got 1:8000 ratio and out of that close to 4000 were from Canada and came from 2 urls... I thought it was weird when it happened.

Also the images are not relevent, you're just showing us some clicks from some city and that's all... Maybe there is server node in Tempe or something, 146 hits are really not revelevant...

Also they may be spiders, for example tumblr has about 50% spiders..

I've spoken with Plugrush guy regarding this issue and we's working on solving the fake traffic issue.

Hopefully there's gonna be more healthy traffic from now on.

Wouldn't most just do a test run anywhere before going all in regardless of where bought or source to see how it performs? All I'm saying is that to me the best thing would be to test a source. See if it does well for you and meets your standards and if not then move on to next. If great then double down maybe? Idk, not trying to get into mix just trying to shed logical light on all.

Maybe one day Im drunk enough to share the results of my tracking tests, you would wonder what kind of crap some brokers sell for years

If all were like plugrush, this would be a better world

After i blocked out the shit/fake sites i got exactly 0 traffic the next day
