What's a good way to put a lien against an automobile title?

The title loan place won't let me keep a loan under $300 for some reason and I like to keep a lien against my automobiles in order to protect them... But $60/mo is getting pretty damned stupid. The banks won't loan me $3 on a $4 bill.. Any big ideas?

Title Loan

If you got a title loan you might as well kiss your car goodbye.

Everyone may think I'm stupid for I want to have a lien on my car, but, without that lien I would not have the car anymore, so keep thinking I'm so stupid

You're so right about title loans though- bad idea, they are. For sure. I would love to be on the right side of THAT fence.

IF the car isn't worth at least $600 (double), it's understandable why they won't give you a loan. Show us a picture of the car.

In a month, you'll be asking us if it's illegal to hide your car at a friend's house while the repo man is looking for it.

Because, then, they don't want to fuck with it when I had a public defender. Also, bill collectors don't want to mess with it neither. I have two judgements against me and a guy I know in this county lost his car when I had a public defender lawyer because they do an asset lookup.

Since these thieves have taken enough from me, then, well to hell with that I should at least have an automobile to get around in. If those crooked bastards will allow me to drive the fuckin' thing.

So, you have a lien on it so other people won't bother?

Exactly
Yes

When they do a title search on it, the lien shows up, but I don't think they can see the amount. Anyway, a 1993 automobile with 200k on it, with a lien against it, who's going to waste time with that .... exactly
