When youre editing origional video is it normal to lose quality?
I have some origional video and now I'm working with it in Premiere 6 and the video is darker and lost a lot of the quality when running it thorugh Premiere.
Is this normal or is there a setting I'm missing? Does this mean I should get a new video card or something else? ![]() |

If you capture from analog you will lose quality, period. You are adding a generation.
If you do a digital dump (firewire), it should be exactly the same as what's on the Mini-DV. Cheers, Backov
