You'd only have $750 for each $142 you invested that day. Stupid scam!

Same could be said about tulip bulbs or Maddoff ponzi scheme.
I am not saying this would happen, I am saying that profits does not mean its not a bubble/scam.

markets are manipulated all the time. hell the stock exvchanges run on rumours. plant the right rumor- profit.

so are stock markets scams?

and all businesses arew bubbles, expansion contraction, etc. the problem is if/when that bubble pops and if you are left holding the remnants.

was the 1929 stock market crash a bubble?

What I merely meant to say is: fact that people made profits does not automatically mean its not long term bubble or scam, or ponzi, or something. You can not use this argument to prove that this is a legit thing.

Bitcoin is surely a risky business...

Just thinking that everyone is anonymous and when they run away with your money, you cannot claim anyone, just blows my mind. It's pretty scary.

Imagine one of those crazy guys who have all your info that is published on the web, what they could do with it.

Man, just digging into some of these guys who have their whole life exposed on the web is scary. And trying to identify one of those anonymous guys, its like fighting a ghost. They have all 400 different names and alias, that you cannot know who he/she really is.

And on the other corner you have the guy doing everything legal, with his life exposed on the web, just 10 minutes of the time any of those anonymous guys and they could gather your entire life. Dude, they could ruin your life if they wanted. It's pretty scary.

I would not go looking for enemies I cannot afford to fight. It's not something smart to do. Unless you have some brain problems and are acting on rage. But the end is obvious. You are obviously in disadvantage against any of those anonymous Bitcoin guys.

And this article is exactly why I would never deal with any of this bitcoin scam.

Just sayin...

It's just another way for people to make money without working, until the bottom falls out -- which it always does. Just ask the crooks who work on Wall Street.

Who cares if it is? If you can make money from it, do so. Fiat currency is also a scam but it doesn't stop everyone from using it.
