You will be happy to know that both me and my misses have both donated to the philippines disaster and the UK on a whole has so far raised over 13 million pounds as of the 13 Nov so that figure has most prob gone up now. I also suspect that a lot of other people on this forum have donated as well

On Dec 11th ,2 full semi-truck loads of food and vitamins will be arriving at my plant. Many other people are donating their time and we will be taking all these supplies and putting together that 1 million meals for children in Haiti. We do this, because we know that those meals do go to the starving. Last year I did this and we had a local person go to Haiti and actually distribute the meals. We are doing the same again this year.
I'll post some pictures of the food after it's ready to ship out.

I can tell the original poster, that I don't have any guitars in my collection that come close to the actual cost of doing this.

and fyi - I did not donate to the Philippines but as every year I will donate to local charities that help children in need instead of buying useless christmas presents for my family that has enough stuff.

I have many clients that love to make use of my Filipino programmers friends - they are all over it when they can get graphic designers and programming for cheap - and I know the best and most reliable guys because I've been doing this for so long... but Crickets when a Typhoon lays waste and they need help.

I guess a lot of you dont realize how many people here on GFY use Filipino workers in the adult internet biz but its a lot, stunned to see how many people that are making serious money with their websites, made with dirt cheap Filipino labor, but just no-show when those people need help.
