leaving ADG rather deflated...

All I'm saying in my posts are that people should start using GOOGLE and research this for themselves.
1. HIV is now treatable by a single pill. That pill will reduce your viral load to ZERO. You can live a long and healthy life. 2. That pill is covered by insurance under Obama Care. Nobody needs "help" for their treatment. I have NO idea why ADG decided to make that post that is supposed to put me in a bad light. I've watched him in this thread do the same thing to Porno Dan for no reason at all. But I'm not a nice guy like Dan is. ADG isn't some faceless troll, he's a guy I've sat with...talked with...hung out with, and shook his hand. I considered him to be a friend. To try and make me look bad in a post was totally uncalled for. I hope that he calms the fuck down and re-thinks that post. Again...all I'm saying is EVERYBODY educate yourselves. I've found out things about HIV that I had NO idea about in the last few days. And most of it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Not saying that it's okay to catch it. Of course not. But it's not as bad as it's been made out to be either. Just google it up and start learning for yourselves. Don't listen to me. It's easily done with a few clicks. |
[QUOTE=AsianDivaGirlsWebDude;19795632So you are saying that you've never hired/fucked girls that do drugs, or that have fucked gay guys unprotected, etc? You are fucking kidding yourself.
Now let's say that one of these girls had a clean test, but contracted HIV+ which was not detected, and you just happened to hire her when the infection kicked in and her HIV+ count jumped, and you were infected. ADG[/QUOTE] I have NEVER hired a guy before that has done gay for pay that I have known about. If I know a guy has done gay. I NEVER hired him. It was a precautionary measure on my point And it was my choice. Obviously I hired some that had done gay before that I didnt know about. That was their choice. I have complete compassion for anyone that contracts this aweful disease. BUT im not about to contribute to someone who knowingly put themselves and others in harms way. I am more apt to contributed to another female or male performer that has contatcted HIV from the ground zero patient. I know lots of people do all kinds of drugs, and interacts with talent who plays both sides of the fence..and they know VERY WELL what can happen because of it. Right or wrong that is my opinion. I hope all parties are well and receive my best wishes. As far as me contracting HIV when I was doing BG sets.. I know the risk is there every time I shot. I to this day think porn is the safest way to have unprotected sex. The tests may not be flawless.. but is there anything in life flawless. Im not gonna compare apples and oranges .. but every time I ref a hockey game there is always the chance I fall and break my neck. Do I know the risks.. yes Do I still work yes. Is there an answer for this mess.. who knows.. probably never gonna be perfect. Maybe an answer is a blanket insurance company where the powers to be in the porn biz come up with some plan to insure people. Maybe the more these cases pop up the more girls will NOT screw guys who do bareback gay. I don't know. I would be more than happy to be part of the solution than part of the discussion. |

I honestly don't know how you close that hole and keep everyone safe. How do you police someone who engages in risky behavior in secret, then shows up on set the next day? That's a tough one. But I don't think it's possible. It will come down to doing the best you can with what you have and hope for the best. |

But here in Vegas? Mine are THROUGH THE ROOF. lol And in California I read that they are going up by 100%. And it's not "disinformation", it's me looking at my insurance premiums. Notice in my post I didn't talk about "in general"...though it has already been shown that it has raised most insurance premiums across the country. Anyway...don't want to argue the point. I have no choice but to pay my insurance premiums. :) I just hope that when the rest of it FINALLY (if ever) goes online, that it will bring them back down. It's supposed to be "The Affordable Health Care" law. :) But the way they keep putting it off: Obama delayed it for big business, the unions are trying to get it pushed back too, Congress gave itself a subsidy that we regular citizens don't get for themselves, their family, and all their staff...I don't know if it's ever gonna fully be implemented fairly. |

This is why it doesn't matter if there isn't a 4th performer or not, or even a 5th one, or if it was caught on set or not. This is what the world sees:

To me, that is one of the questions the industry needs to ask. If people are not honoring the moratorium, or are escorting to earn income during the moratorium, that raises many issues for the adult industry. Not sure how my question puts you in a bad spotlight, since only you know the answer to those questions, and apparently choose not to answer them. Other than that, you are open about Claudia escorting, so I did not say that to show Claudia Marie in a bad light. Like you, I think prostitution should be legalized (although I probably think it should be regulated more than you). I simply did so to raise another important issue confronting this industry, and that is how escorting adds risk to the equation, since unlike tested industry talent, most John's are untested, and probably less likely as concerned about their health and hygiene than the average adult performer (with the pro performers I have hired, they usually arrive fresh and clean, and then they clean up more before their scene). Anyway, nothing personal directed towards you or Claudia Marie. I apologize if you took it that way. My main objective in this thread was to keep the HIV issue on Page 1, while others wish it would die away, by asking hard questions; hopefully to get some answers, but also to stir debate and get people to start asking themselves some serious questions that impact us in many more ways than just our pocketbooks. I am deeply disappointed with anyone in the industry attacking any of the people who have contracted HIV, and Cameron Bay in particular. I don't care how much testosterone you take Robbie (and I mean that as a sarcastic joke, so don't have roid rage, lol), Cameron Bay has bigger balls than you or anyone else in this industry for how she has owned up to her illness, and how she is dealing with it. If you are forced to take pills daily to keep HIV in check, your life is changed forever. https://d3jpl91pxevbkh.cloudfront.ne...sAtDBxk2aQ.jpg I have been trying to put a human face to HIV, in the hopes that each and every person, no matter what their role is in the adult industry, does take people getting infected with HIV in our industry personally. I've spent most of my adult life living here in the Bay Area, Ground Zero for HIV and AIDS. Over the years I have lost over a dozen friends to AIDS, most in the late 80's and early 90's, including a couple of dear friends. Perhaps that does make me extra sensitive about this issue. I'm happy that better treatments are now available, and I don't have to visit friends in hospices as often, or attend as many funerals as I had to in the early days of HIV/AIDS. There is nothing I would like better than to see a cure to such a dreadful disease. We're in the adult industry, so we celebrate sex. How tragic that undiagnosed and untreated, HIV/AIDS can kill you. Dislike my if you wish to Robbie. We're similar in many ways (although you are more Keith Richards, and I am more John Lennon). I mean that with regards to how we are both passionate independents in this industry, who pretty much speak our minds, and try to be honest and ethical when we do so. I hope on the issues which we do agree about, you'll continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with me (piracy, etc). I'll end this thread with a post from the Cameron Bay HIV Medical Fund: Quote:

The Porn Valley Mexican Stand-Off...Continues According to the FSC/PASS site, the FSC was supposed to meet Tuesday about patient #3 exposure re-tests, and to decide what steps to take next, such as lifting or extending the production moratorium, which was announced as a result of HIV+ #3 (even though the FSC initially said HIV+ #3 never worked in the industry - kind of begs the question as to who is being re-tested if HIV+ #3 never worked with anyone after testing positive). Meanwhile, Weinstein of the AHF claims to know of a 4th HIV+ case, which the FSC is vehemently denying. Perhaps Weinstein is waiting on the FSC to make their announcement first so he can spring a "gotcha" on them. Otherwise, he is lying about a rather serious matter. One thing is known, Public Health officials have to be notified by the testing clinic within 7 days of any HIV+ results, so we'll find out soon enough who is telling the truth this time (although both the FSC/AHF are masters of double-talk spin control deception). http://mgoblog.com/sites/mgoblog.com.../ncaa-dogs.gif http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_li...p80co1_500.gif Surprised no one has made "Not Rebel Without A Cause XXX" starring James Deen yet. :winkwink: :stoned ADG |

I don't get it...the LAW says that under Obama Care that insurance companies have to pay for the HIV meds.
The new one a day pill shouldn't make her sick at all. Just doesn't add up right to me. Somebody is not giving her proper medical advice and insurance advice. Even here in Vegas you can pretty much go to the LGBT and get all this stuff for free. Not sure why this girl is paying like that...unless the AHF other anti-porn people are "guiding" her. I can't even fathom why someone would be publicly announcing that they have a fever and are in the hospital unless they are being manipulated? |

Rob Black vs Mike South http://www.lukeisback.com/wp-content...th_600x400.jpg A novel fundraising idea: Porn pundits Mike South and Rob Black like to mix it up on occasion, and the current HIIV situation brought them together (to fight each other) once again, except this time something actually good may come from it. Mike South has challenged Rob Black to put his money where his mouth is to show his support for the three recently confirmed adult industry HIV+ cases by making a financial donation, which South said that he will match: Quote:

@AsianDiva - CalOSHA already has new language for 5193 that is industry specific that is being sent to FedOSHA for approval this month.
AB640 is nothing more than political and fundraising grandstanding. No one is going to enforce this just as they dont bother to enforce Measure B in LA County. CalOSHA is the department that has authority over workplace safety. When Weinstein didnt get the unwavering support he wanted for his pet project from CalOSHA he found Hall and paid him some money. Hall must think this will take him national and keeps trying to pass an unnecessary bill. Most the legislators know its wasteful. I suspect thats why his first one died in committee. He finally got this one to a vote but Jerry Brown has former ties to the industry so it will be interesting to see what he does with this. |

OHHH man!! That Crack head Black!! This guy is on another level of stupidity. He has a few good ideas, but nobody will ever get past the his attacks on everyone in the adult biz. And he makes a big deal about getting free testing. Somebody should ask him what kind of tests he is getting for free. And what good is free if it takes 2 weeks to get back? This business is falling apart at the seems. Just Dave |
Here in Vegas they do free testing at LBGT.
I've never done that because we have a standing order from our personal physician at Lab Corp. Cost is $59 But IF you went for the free testing here...most days of the month they do the "2 weeks" to get the results. But one day a month they do the rapid hiv test: September 19 — 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. - 5 p.m. (subject to change) Gay and Lesbian Center of Southern Nevada Free Rapid HIV Testing / STD Screenings / Hepatitis A & B Vaccines 401 S. Maryland Pkwy. Las Vegas, NV 89101 Call 733-9800 for more information. There's also what looks to be a Boxing gym that does it for free all month long: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Richard Steele Boxing Free Rapid HIV Testing / STD Screening 2475 W. Cheyenne Ave. North Las Vegas, NV 89032 Call 638-1308 for more information. That's just 2 of the ones I found here by googling. I prefer to use Lab Corp (the same company that does blood work nationwide every time any of you go to the doctor and need blood tests done). We found out how much the price was jacked up by AIM and TTS in the past when my doctor sent me there to get blood drawn. I was telling the nurse what we did for a living and said that Claudia Marie had to test every month and it was $130 PLUS the fee for whomever did the draw. The people at Lab Corp were shocked. They told me we were getting screwed hard and showed me the cost of the test. Told me to just go to my doctor and get an order for it. So we did. :) I never plan on having CM test with one of those "industry" testing places again. I have no desire to get ripped off and/or have her medical records floating around for everyone to see. |

http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lj...6unmo1_500.jpg If the industry is forced to go condom only, and continues with testing (as I feel it should), then why not partner up with AHF as a educational/safe-sex partner if they are willing to make testing more affordable for performers? Then the adult trade organization representing the organization could serve the industry better as an independent industry watchdog (if we co-pay for testing, a small % could go to the industry watchdog group to underwrite education and other efforts within the industry). Of course, that is dependent upon AHF being open to working with us in earnest towards a mutual goal of safe and healthy adult entertainment. AHF can focus on what they do best, the safe, while we focus on what we do best, the sex. Win-Win-Win, war is over (if you want it)... :) :stoned ADG |

Can I just say it annoys me trans performers get lumped in with Gay Performers.
We test just as hard as the mainstream industry and we use CONDOMS almost every time! NONE.. NOT ONE US Transsexual PERFORMER has EVER BEEN ON the list!! So why you guys point your fingers at US I have no clue! It's always been the gay for pay or female actresses that turn up with it. Not to mention SEX IN GENERAL IS NEVER going to be 100% safe! If you believe that you are delusional! There are agencies that escort their girls out to the highest bidder and the client will fuck them raw! To deny that again delusional! Everyone loves to point fingers, but doesn't point fingers at their own unsafe way of doing things! Porn perfomers have personal lives and a shit load escort..28 days to me is too long of time! Every 15 days should be put in place! The moratorium was not long enough the first time making us look horrendous to the mainstream media! Then on top of it you had producers in Arizona and other places not following the moratorium convincing performers to come their way to shoot! It needs to be a group effort to keep our asses off the chopping block! Instead of working apart we should work together. The gay industry should be HELD to the SAME standards! It should be UNIVERSAL! I personally work only with my husband or if we do threesomes I google the shit out of the performers name so I know who and what SHE is about. I think performers should have to sign a contract or admit to the company/performer she is working with that they escort. Escorts can complain all they want, but when you are having sex with 1 to 10 different guys daily your chance of infection SIGNIFICANTLY goes up! FYI though OUR STANDARDS OF TESTING IN THE US TRANSSEXUAL NICHE is the SAME AS YOURS and we almost ALWAYS USE A CONDOM.. Companies like GROOBY expect you to use a condom. So why we get mixed into the gay side I WILL NEVER know besides the fact we both have the same downstairs! FYI GAY MEN ARE NOT ATTRACTED TO TRANSSEXUALS! WHY?? Because they look like women! They have tits! They want MEN like many of the men posting in this thread. If we want change!! Then we as an industry as a WHOLE need to come together! None of this straight vs gay vs trans vs crossover crap We should all have the same standard of testing! I know some of the companies in the gay niche do condom only no testing..that should be illegal and abolished! As well when they call a moratorium we all halt in every state! In case a traveling performer so happens to have it! Otherwise we are going to get our asses handed to use every single time! |

Her drug use? Look at the the real porn wiki leaks She could of easily picked it up being irresponsible. Not just from Rod Daily. She escorts, does glory hole scenes with untested individuals the list goes on And I am well aware of the plague that is there on "crossover" It just annoys me when transsexual performers are mixed in with the gay industry. Rod Daily was honest and he didn't throw the industry under the bus like Miss Cameron did in her new huff post article. She is an adult performer she should take accountability for her actions. Notice she mentioned nothing in the article of her hardcore drug use and/or personal life. She kept it focused on she was the victim and if she knew what knows now she'd of always demanded a condom. Eluding to the mainstream it's the porn industry. Then she says she still wants to do solo scenes and that she regrets being the poster child because now no partners will work with her. I was shocked by that as if she was saying she'd still perform on the down low. It's a doozey http://thereal*************.com/huff...embarrassment/ |

I get annoyed when AHF make up total fabrications and release them as fact and the fucktards here at GFY, that AREN'T even in the biz, run with them like it's true and the NBC picks it up like it's true.. no producers I know will shoot her |
Aaaah, so now the poor "victim" Cameron Bay is blaming it all on the porn industry.
How predictable. Maybe ADG will rush over to give even more money to her "fund". :( Oh wait...there will be no need for that. The Anti-Porn people are going to help her make money while she is of value to them. I'd like to make an analogy: I hire 2 carpenters to work on my home. After work they go and do some carpentry on their own home. They get hurt. And now I get blamed for it because I was nice enough to have given them a job to make a living. That scenario would NEVER happen in the "real" world. But somehow, here in porn...it does. |
Quote:
:( :disgust |
what mess for sure...
|
Quote:
It's usually always a special case why a condom isn't used and performers are always tested right before said scene. It's not done on an every day basis like the straight industry. But again seeing as how not one american ts performer has been on a quarantine list and we all test heavily I think we are just as safe as YOUR "crowd". I am probably safer than most I don't escort..I do scenes with my husband...I rarely shoot unless the pay is good enough and I always make the performer get tested right before a shoot. So again yawn on your "sarcasm" |
Quote:
|
Quote:
Kudos to you for being safe all the time, but I think you're in the minority. The fact an HIV issue hasn't come from a ts yet is just luck. Some of them escort, do drugs, and have risky sex just like everyone else. Drugs, booze, lowered inhibition, sexual people... shit happens. Doesn't matter what side of the business you work in. :2 cents: |
Quote:

And I wasn't being sarcastic in my post. Nor disrespectful. I'm not trying to pick a fight...it's just a point I'm making. "Almost" always means there's room for something going wrong. That's all I meant. |
