![]() Hello,
I'm a somewhat newbie and I need advice on analyzing stats (mostly Nats), more precisely "Submits". From my understanding a submit is any (even non-qualifying) submit on join page. Three of programs I promote have several submits , but very few or no sales. I'm sending quality traffic (mostly organic), targeted users who read my site reviews (not bought traffic or redirects). Sample for last 3 months: Program A: Submits: 143 Joins: 8 Program B: Submits: 55 Joins: 0 Program C: Submits: 10 Joins: 5 Is this normal or should I contact the managers to review the logs? Those ratios look way too disproportional to me.

Submits are those that enter in a username, pass and email on the sites join page and get directed to the biller. You can see anything from 1:2 to 1:200 in sales from submits. Usually depends on how much info you need to enter on the site's join page, and how much preselling is done and how forthcoming the site is about cost etc.

Submits are those who submit the pre-join form of NATS and pass to biller for payment. Now its upto payment processor to accept or decline. If approved by processor it should come back as Sale if not then nothing. If you got your own merchant account than you should see the decline reason other wise not.

Not to mention, they can do it multiple times, which they do. And they can also be from countries that are not easily processed for. Example: Pakistan.
Raw submit data like that really does not provide enough information for any real analysis. Those are simply incomplete data points. Now if you have data on how many individual Americans submitted and how many joined? then you can do some analysis.

I'm assuming submits are counted from first step submits in 2 step registrations (as Nicky wrote above). Is this common setting?
I did some in-depth research for program A (last 30 days) Google Analytics data Unique site exit hits : 54 Hits from "higher" value countries: 39 - USA, UK, Germany, France, few European countries Hits from "lower" value countries: 15 - Turkey, Brazil, .. 1-2 unique hits from each NATS Unique hits (Nats): 55 Submits: 21 Joins:2 Demographical Report of NATS showed UK had 14 submits and no join. UK isn't Pakistan, I'm I too paranoic or is there a reason to worry?

![]() ![]() testing it would be your answer.. but you'd want to know how to reset your ip for those stats, (if you have clicked etc), and how long submit stats take to show up (sometimes a few minutes) |

Thanks for your input, I will do some test in upcoming days. I find it weird this happens only with 3 sponsors, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Here is one affiliate program who appears to be starting up a program to sell ad space on affiliate traffic to their program without any additional compensation to the affiliate. https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1119096 Here's one of the bigger industry blacklists. Notice all the programs on it. http://www.signbucks.com/news/blacklist Here's what used to be a list of important program changes which stopped getting update lately. Notice how many have switched codes (ie you send traffic for free with no credit for sales) or shut down the program without notifying affiliates -- something which would be considered basic professionalism in a real business. Notice it is hundreds of sites a month at least. http://www.signbucks.com/news/programs-changes Here's a program which was apparently bought recently. From what I gather they pulled the promo content with no notice. Now an affiliate finds that his test signup failed and it appears likely that no credit is being given to affiliates when the customer uses at least one secondary processor. https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1118630 Imagine how often this happens without anyone knowing or speaking about it here. So my point is that people are going to try to screw you if you let them and you aren't always dealing with good people. In fact this industry tends to turn good people bad in the way they deal with affiliates because they see everyone else getting away with things so they think why shouldn't I too. You have to look out for you.
