What Banner Rotating Script to Use?

I am looking for a script that will let me manage banner ads from a central place and provide the ability to schedule ad campaigns where I can measure the CTR.

For example, it will automatically let me run banner1 for 24 hours, take note of the CTR, then run banner2 for 24 hrs take note of CTR, and so on.

What do you suggest?

Thanks

I would also like to know...

Right now i am using OpenX but one major feature i can't seem to find within OpenX is the source page URL from a banner click. e.g. zone X rotates 3 banners and 300 pages have this zone. So, i can tell which banner was clicked(out of 3) but can't tell from which page(out of 300).

You can set this up in Google Analytics if you're sending traffic to your own website.

i've written my own, i find it not so complicated as openX, and pretty fast (i tought openX was great, but there were to many options, and in the end i found it to be a little slow).
It doesn't have a GUI tough (everything has to be entered directly into the DB), but it does measure the amount of shows and clicks, you can set a banner weight, only show banners with a certain keyword, a certain sponsor, a certain height, weight,... You can also disable a banner with one database field.

In case you're interested, you can have it for free if you'd like, but i'm not responsible if it breaks your server ;-)

How can you not look at open source software for 12 months? OpenX is constantly a target of hacking.

I use smart spots, it's ok and cheap. OpenX is alright, but definitely don't leave it alone like this guy that shit will get pwnd.

OpenX Is great with little traffic but if you have tons of traffic like over 100k daily you would need to get a dedicated server JUST for openX as we found out on analscream it slowed everything down and was really really hard to get back into the admin area to turn banners off! Just a warning and talking from our experience!

Had the same experience...
back in the days, when it was phpAds, the interface was a lot simpler, and it could handle a lot more traffic IMO....

I start talking like an old man... In the old days, everything was better

Next to my icq (158726359), you're also welcome to contact me over PM or on webmaster[at]whipp[removethis]3d[dot]com

BTW, if enough people actually want my simple banner rotator, i'll write a simple GUI for it for free to, so you don't have to work directly into the DB...
The only thing i ask in return is that you dont redistribute my script, and if you ever need extensions made: contact me instead of paying somebody else to extend my tool...

That's a nice offer Paffle, thank you.
I've only just started looking at OpenX, but its almost as slow as CCBills backend. (That's not a big compliment!)

Apparently we got lucky for a long long time. Plus we do not serve hundreds of ads.

@NikKay thanks. I do use GA to track events and do get source URL of clicks(for generic banners though) but not entirely sure how to integrate GA with OpenX. I will take a look.

I would prefer something simpler and lighter than OpenX but not too simple like smart spot. I was looking around and found this Ad Manager Pro. Anyone using this? it seems pretty light, simple and with all the good features of tracking.
