Why all the acrimony? I already apologized for making the mistake about the wheelchair. It was a blunder because I misread something, and I've already said that I'm sorry.... but in any case it had nothing to do with anything. But why the personal attacks? What did I do to you? Am i not allowed to discuss a subject unless it agrees with your personal worldview? Perhaps if you tried having more tolerance for the fact that we all don't see the world in the exact same way, you wouldn't have so many anger issues.

I think that there was shown a definite agenda by news agencies, part of that same issue is for example the fact that a potentially huge lurid case about an illegal abortion clinic in the North East was completely ignored. If you disagree, and think that this is all just due to the respective family not making enough hue and cry about the issue, then you can just say that. There is no need for juvenile name calling. I haven't harmed you by posting a different view then yours. The world is a big place, full of all kinds of different people bro..... Stop with the hate.

I know, but people were crying about the OP making a mistake about the wheelchair being in the story...so I gave them a wheelchair :thumbsup

If you read the thread, you would see that I apologized, (now THREE times), for misreading something and making a MISTAKE about the wheelchair. AGAIN, I"m sorry for the MISTAKE... Secondly we were told by the media that hispanic Zimmerman was actually white, so I was making the same change to this story, and thirdly, the "bar" that was alledged was never found by the police or anyone else.

Like I said earlier, if you bothered reading the thread:


A hispanic guy shoots a young black guy that jumps him after the hispanic guy follows him. He co-operates with the police, and is not charged. His story never changes nor does new evidence emerge. 2 weeks later the national media starts to go nuts, celebrities, and politicians start championing the cause, and 6 weeks later he is charged and indicted with a blaze of national attention. He is vilified as a racist, even though there is no evidence of it, and in fact where he lives is racially mixed and he has worked with youths of all races in the past.

A black guy shoots a mentally retarded hispanic guy that tries to attack his car after the black guy almost runs into him by accident. He co-operates with with police and is not charged. The pipe that his assailant was supposed to have is never found. 3 months later he is still not charged. There is no national media, no celebrities, no politicians, and no blaze of attention.



So no matter where you stand on the zimmerman case, what do you think about one case getting massive attention from everyone, and the other getting none? Do you have an opinion on that?

i followed the story didn't need to read the story. its going to end up a self defense case. i have no idea why he was so mad he was trying to break the drivers side window. i had a car tap me while i was crossing in the crosswalk i didnt go crazy and start trying to break windows. South phoenix is dangerous every fucking body has a gun. 51st ave and baseline is real bad. shootings robberies rapes. i never knew how bad it was over there.

That's all fine.... (and him having the capacity of a 12 year old may have had something to do with it), but in any case what is your opinion on the discrepancy between the coverage nationally and the lack of involvement by celebs, media figures, etc?
