Can anyone recommend an awesome big desk and setup? Im shopping for one. What do you have?

Im moving into a 1 bedroom apartment and decided not to have a living room, im just going to make it into a big fucking office, so I want a nice big big desk.

I LOVE this up and down motor but they dont sell it in America

so nice!

I like Ikea and went today and was looking, they had some nice ones
this is nice, its 7.8 feet LONG, notice the extension piece on the right.

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/pr...44/#/S49807845
and then put one of these under it
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10192824/

Or this is good, its 6 feet long
http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S79857848/

they have this which is nice and long, but a little narrow at only 23 inches wide

What do you have? Do you love your desk?

I use a 6 foot utility desk. I have two of them. Sounds ghetto, but they work real nice and are dirt cheap.

Why is there not like a "defacto" standard desk that we all use because it's the best.

Seems really weird.

They suck when you have to use a keyboard on one, not a very good height, at least for me. I used one of these for a long time and my wrists were always killing me.

Here's my alternate, but no room for my feet... Really not as practical as it might seem.

An obvious STEAL at $7,200. Practically giving it away.

I have two of those, only they have wooden tops, that I put together in the corner of the room to form a version of a corner desk. I love it. The tables I have are just the right height and I have the dual monitors in the corner, tower to the right, printer to the right of that then to the left I basically have one full table that is empty. I bought a couple of plastic drawers to put on it for storage and it is great.

Over the years I have had a few different desks and I love this one the most even if it is really just two tables and not an actual desk.

I just moved into a 2 bedroom from a 1 bedroom as I wanted a dedicated office. Bought a glass topped simple but nice desk years ago from best buy. Was gonna upgrade it to a new one as I got rid of a bunch of shit and been buying new shit but when I bought my new surround sound computer speakers and entertainment center best buy had like zero computer desks so decided to stick with it until I get time to browse online. I got a thing for glass= end table, entertainment center, computer desk etc... I'll snap some pics of my simple mini loft once I organize this bitch over the next week or two.

I got a GREAT office desk @ Office Max, delivered / assembled about a year ago.
They have several to check from depending on your needs...
Smartest move I could have made for my home office!

I got a huge desk about 6 years ago and over several months was never comfortable with it. Luckily was able to get back my previous 6' one.
