I would consider completely rebuilding your site, use semantic html and add some content, as far as google is concerned adultdir just looks like a page with nothing more than a couple of random links on.
As a minimum once you've made your html relevant to give bots an idea of what the page is, why not give each site it's own page with a description and some other useful info on.

EN1GMA, I'd be happy to look over your sites to see how I might be able to help. I've worked with quite a few adult sites that have been bit by Penguin over the last several months. I'll ICQ you now. digital.. it's true, no doubt, but there will always be a need for technical optimization, better internal linking methods, mods to increase index counts, proper keyword targeting, research to uncover the best link sources, etc. And for guys who have lost ranks for whatever reason will need to know why it happened and how to fix it.. which aren't always easy to see until you dig into everything.

I think that I was hit by PANDA or PENGUIN update at 12 Feb more or less.
Please check: http://i.imgur.com/Kz9Q4oa.png My average traffic was between 10.000 and 17.000 unique visitors daily. Now: March: 8,000 April: 6,000 May: 5,000 Jun: 4,000 Jul: 3,000 And still dropping... I don't know what to do... I already hired about 4 SEO companies without any luck. I need to found a PROFESSIONAL who knows whats he doing... not playing with me, because this is my life, I have wife and children and want the best for them. Please, recommend me a good SEO guy! Who you know and work for years, and that never hit by PANDA and PENGUIN updates. I'm asking for HELP! You have my contacts in my signature. |

Hey guys, thank you for your replies and for trying to helping
I have notice some warnings about duplicated content. I saw that once but can't find where to find in webmaster tools anymore. How can we see the reason of the duplicated content, they tell us? I have an theory, I have a domain.com in English, and have many subdomains with same exactly content but with different languages. For example: es.domain.com, fr.domain.com and also have a different domain with same content but with a different language. Could this could harm my website? And another thing, someone told me that I can add a code in the websites saying that belongs to same site but they use different languages. How can I do that? Anyone knows and can explain to me how to do it? :-) P.S. many SEO guys who talking with said that my website was not penalized or hit by PANDA or PENGUIN updates. Thank you guys! |

I have found something interesting, I have my website in other languages using subdomains, for example, es.domain.com
And in all subdomains, in webmaster tools I have this warning: HTML Improvements Last updated Jul 4, 2013 We didn't detect any content issues with your site. As we crawl your site, we check it to detect any potential issues with content on your pages, including duplicate, missing, or problematic title tags or meta descriptions. These issues won't prevent your site from appearing in Google search results, but paying attention to them can provide Google with more information and even help drive traffic to your site. For example, title and meta description text can appear in search results, and useful, descriptive text is more likely to be clicked on by users. More Information Last updated Jul 4, 2013 The main domain is the only that don't have this message Someone told me that I can add a code in the websites saying that belongs to same site but they use different languages. How can I do that? Anyone knows and can explain to me how to do it? :-) At this part will be solved! Thanks ![]() |

yes, just sites for users, meta tags, some links, thats all. The rest is all about the content. Trying to understand google doesn't lead to anything but wasting your time. Any SEO google might take as manipulation if you do just a little too much.

Most Likely Cause Is....
Over optimization of anchor text.
I work for a large adult network and whenever one of our sites gets hit by a penalty it is due to over optimization of anchor text 90% of the time. This is usually due to anchor text links sitewide. Go back and contact all the webmasters that you bought links on their sites and ask them to change the link to the home page only, if they can't then change the link to a URL of your site. Then go back and look at your link profile, do you have links only going to your home page, if so that needs to change? Do you have enough nofollow links? Are all of your links anchors or are they diversified with images, frames, URLs, and nofollows? I haven't seen your site so its hard to tell, but if I were a betting man I'd say it was due to what I said above. If you have any questions or want me to look over your site, send me a message. Good luck. |

One quick random thing that Matt Cutts recently said to do was use nofollow on ads and irrelevant links. It helps a little bit.
Research the hell out of your site stats comparing when it was making optimal traffic to now and see if you can figure out what happened and fix it using that data. Without seeing your site, it's all guesses, though.. ![]()

Prior to the drop, what percentage of your traffic was coming in from Google Image Search?

I rarely post because its really not necessary to give out advices. people survive people die, thats society, thats life. but if u have a family to feed then i guess its another thing, shouldn't be too cruel to u since u already have a heavy load of pressure on ur shoulder. whether u listen to me or not its up to u. but I play this game since 2006, i witness everything about seo, its like roller coaster, once u jump on the wagon u prepare to ride with thrill. If seo is ur only asset, then u have to remember my advices.
1. Google Keeps Changing. thats why u dont give yourself hope on theory like "my traffic is rising slowly or its going to keep steady constant for years" No. its not like that, ur traffic according to analysis chart should be up and down and up again. Nothing is constant. 2. If google keeps changing, how de heck do I stay top of the game, or at least survive it? Well same to anything in life, knowledge is important, instead of u hiring seo guy, why not read the latest news urself. At least learn something about it, make ur own judgement. It saves u money and build up ur foundation same time. Someone above said "Good seo guy hardly work for other" sure damn hes right, good seo guy makes too much, would u be able to afford the cost to hire him for ur little site? nope. so learn everything urself. 3. What if "I dont have time to learn everything myself", well theres the different between an expert and an investor, entrepreneurship is all about those 2 stages, u start with nothing, build ur expert skills learn everything, once u get good about it, u make money and now u have resource and become an investor to apply money back to ur field to grow. thats how thing should work. 4. Final and the most important point. Nothing is guaranteed or 100%. Thats where Probability and Diversity come in harmony. Ask Warren Buffet, he wont put all his investment on one single business, he diversify. Same to u, dont put all ur energy on one site, because u wont be getting the reward ur deserve nowadays for SEO. Even if ur site rised to the top suddenly, its gonna dropped dead hill one day. So plan ur budget and invest in as many domains and as many sites as possible. Like a group of soldiers going to war, if u had one man down, u still got bunch of supports so that u would have resource to keep fighting. My final advice, dont burn ur money on seo service anymore, its waste. Remember to learn from top ranking sites, there must be a scheme to something, I give u an example. type in filipina sex in google.com and u will see they are all similar and some even built by same owners. Learn something from them and test it on ur site. Those guys most likely hold a large percent of adult se traffics. |

Keep in mind when targeting a specific keyword that you need to optimize your site well.
Say your keyword is blonde porn. When you look at your new post and you are targeting a specific keyword and if you have that word in the title, tags, categories, and elsewhere then each time it appears it will count towards your keyword dentisy. Refrain from having a keyword dentisy of more than 3 percent. Make sure you are interlinking your content within your blog, say every 5 posts you make, add an anchor that targets another keyword you are playing with on another post or the main keyword on a particular post or page. Remove the author data from your wp editor, you don't need it. All it does is replicate each post in Google and can cause duplication issues. Build a small tier 1 of links containing web 2.0s, high pr blog posts, high pr,low obl comments, and social bookmarks. Use GSA search engine ranger and blast the tier 1 with spam comments using the tier 1 as your buffer sites. Then use scrapebox as tier 3 to blast hundreds of thousands of blog comments to tier 2. Use indexification or a similar indexing program to index the tier 2 and tier 3. Make sure your on page SEO is spot on and content is unique. |

I haven't seen your backlink list but if it's out of control full of spammy links from previous SEO work, I would pretty much suggest the same thing.
I've taken over SEO jobs where the sites have thousands of really bad backlinks, trying to arrange for the webmasters to remove them is near impossible and using the Google Disavow tool does pretty much nothing so it's just easier to start a new site from scratch and do white hat from the start. |

I have recovered many penalized websites, I'm afraid what you're saying is not correct. It also depends under what reasons they were taken down by Google.
