the last guy we had approving accounts was a good guy, but a bit paranoid over fraud. usually when someone signs up we just want to make sure we know who you are and you'll promote us in an approved way, which is fairly standard.

i do admit when i looked at things after he left, he probably took it a bit too far, but if youre promoting us in general ways, it should be fine.
