Everyone says you can buy this or that but I know for a fact not a single person here actually bought anything with it. They just "invest" into bitcoins and hope to strike big.

Bitcoins are still in it's infancy, a couple of big internet names like Namecheap and Wordpress already accept bitcoin.
Maybe more will in the future, who knows.
