I'm going to get some hate for this, but I think that a solution to that problem as well as paysite owners seeing sales like the 'good old days' again is to have every affiliate program and paysite owner only offer banner ads and little promos like DVD/paysite video screenshot tour pages and get rid of all FHGs, MGPs, tube content, RSS, etc. This will piss a lot of people off, but will make affiliates rely on real, actual marketing and not just spam the internet with porn and get lucky like everyone does these days..

That's just dumb though as far as "seeing sales like the good old days". If affiliate promo content is a problem then for the average paysite piracy is 100 to a 1000 times it. People aren't buying not because they've seen a 1 minute affiliate promo but rather because they can type the name of the program in google and find 500 30 minute full scenes at pornhub, tube8, extremetube, redtube, porntube, xhamster, and on and fucking on not to mention the file lockers. Usually comments like this come from the "cocaine bros" (the remnant of our industry who spend all day all coked up and sleep on mattresses of $100 bills while saying "Bro this, Bro that" all day on the forums and shows) or out of touch one man small program webmasters like "The Apple Twins" who think giving away more than 3 pictures on a page is "giving away the milk". The former is just looking for someone to blame for the porn downturn other than their bros. The latter is just way out there and 10 years in the past.

It's like complaining about someone about someone who is smoking because "they might start a fire" while at the same time knowingly giving an insane pyromaniac a can full of gas and a blow torch and telling him to "have lots of fun".

Maybe, just maybe, a surfer can get off on the 30 second trailers but at the same time they can definitely get off on 500 full scenes listed at the top of Google and hosted on tubes and file lockers.

One of the main problems here is that there are several kinds of porn surfers. I'm not talking about niches, or who's into what, but rather the INTENT of a porn surfer.

Some want to whack off RIGHT NOW so will go to a tube site and do their business, presto poppo.

The other kind of surfer wants QUALITY. He wants to enjoy his porn in privacy, away from wife, kids, family and collegues.

It is now our job to cater to this latter category of surfers whereas the online porn business was built on instant gratification (the first kind of surfer). Does this make our job as Webmasters and program owners/content producers more difficult? Sure it does! Will we earn about 1/10 of what we did during "the glory days"? Sadly yes.

Still beats selling shoes.

I’m owner of few free tube sites with daily traffic of 200k unique visits. I want to use that traffic and start my first adult pay site. I did lot on my pay site and now is time to choose payment processor. As this is something new for me I need a little help. I have noticed that many of big sites such as Mofos, Brazzers, …….use 2 and 3 payment processors (Epoch, CCbil, Verotel). Why they do that? I suppose that they got some advantages? What kind advantages? Should I use just one processor or I need to have 2 or more processors.
