    Any benefit of going to a sex tradeshow as a webmaster?

    Hey everyone.

    There is a major sex trade show coming to my area Feb 21-24. I was wondering if anyone here has ever gone to one of these events before and if so was it beneficial?

    I have a cams site, porn site, and adult toy site.. I was thinking I might be able to promote the toy site there, handing out coupons etc maybe. I dunno. What do you guys think? Would this be a good idea?

    What about wearing a shirt with my major sites on it with QR codes or something?

    What do you guys think? Would this be worth going to as a webmaster or do you think it
    is mainly for the brick and mortar stores and clubs?

      It would be very beneficial and you have some great ideas.

      You could make business cards with the QR code on the back with coupon URLs in the code. I would do this for all three sites and I would invite somebody else to also pass them out to people. I might bring 2 hot babes with me and have them passing out the cams and adult toys while I would be passing the porn site cards.

      You might even be able to tap into craigslist and find 2 people who will do it for free just wanting the passes into the show. Take them to breakfast. Tell them what you want. Meet again for lunch. Then again for dinner. Pump them up.

      You will most likely find people like yourself and you can work on partnerships or just sharing information that would be beneficial to both of you.

          Thanks for the help VVVVV, it's called sexapalooza, it's pretty huge here where I live. Never gone but I think I just might. I am going to definitely get some hotties to come along for sure. They would be so much better at passing out stuff than me and way more popular I am sure.

          I think I will hit up CL also and try to find some people in the area who want a free pass like you suggested. That's a great idea.

              Merchants/vendors/retailers who are paying for booths will probably get pissed that you're handing out coupons, brochures, etc. and it's possible you and your crew will get thrown out. If that happens, you're going to lose the money you paid for the tickets and you'll still have to pay the girls for all the days you hired them.

                      Businesses who exhibit at trade shows pay significant fees for space and the right to have promo staff handing out brochures or samples.

                      You can't just rock up and start handing stuff out.

                                  I am going to look into the vendor side of things. I wouldn't just roll up like an asshole handing out free shit. Haha

                                  Maybe I can get a vendor pass or somthing, without a booth etc.
