Hi,

Something very fucked up is going on with my firefox browser. Some pages got random hyperlinks and if I mouse over it, it pops up with some sort of advertisement..

Here's an example

The "account" text shouldn't even be clickable... This is showing on a lot of pages. My stats, my traffic reports. Almost all web pages I visit, even on GFY. Just random text links with this shit.

And also I've noticed that all the banners on my websites are displaying a different pictures with another url in it. When I click on it, it takes me to a random website instead of the actual sponsor im using..

Also I get a random popup every now and again with some sort of advertisement in it.

This is only happening in Firefox. Any idea why this is happening and how I can turn this shit off? Is this maybe a virus of some sort.

Oh shit okay, that sucks..

How do I get rid of malware? Sorry, I just never had to deal with something like this. I'm running Avast Antivirus and its up to date with all the new virus definitions. I'm doing a full scan of my PC now, don't know if that's gonna help..

Wonder how that fucker snuk past me.

If you have been on gambling sites see if you have a program called ARCADECANDY installed. If you do then uninstall it.
