I was so close to hanging up after the recording stopped for like a solid 10 min ... but then ... then i got a real person!!!! and it was Glorious!!!! :thumbsup

I've been on hold for 10 min now.

Don't give up.

ughhhhh - dialing for 20 minutes to finally get through to the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel, sit on hold for 2-3 minutes - battery dies on phone!!

Start dialing again for another 7 minutes and I get through again. Receive the "on hold" message for 15 minutes and that stops. What to do? Do I risk hanging up and starting over? I can't risk it. goodgirl and I start calling on 2 other phones for another 15 minutes when suddenly my on hold call is answered!!

Reservations made. See you in Tempe

second time with more than 15 mins on hold. first time I got dropped. Crossing my fingers now!

Of course, I didn't ask if it was the pride code. Hope so. :)

I should have hit the WM Phoenix Open and been able to drive to the Tempe Mission Palms to handle it.

Don't presume call dropped unless you get a dial tone or something. I thought my call dropped because the on hold recording stops after about 15 minutes. I was on hold about 30.

Room Booked. Always feels like Im trying to win some kind of contest on a radio call-in show. See you there!

Switched to Skype on Clements suggestion... It dropped my call after 25 minutes of hold when the chick picked up. Yay!

The Marriot was sold out before this one went on sale, spring training visitors. I called there when the forum dates were announced and it was fully booked.

the woman seemed more surprised about it than i was lol

they have 'other properties' two miles away etc

Some veterans of TPF will reserve rooms at the Marriott before hand to make sure they have a backup if they don't get through to the Mission Palms. :winkwink:

We checked the coutryard at the same time as Mission Palms and it was coming up as sold out first.

I have never had to stay at the off site hotel for the Forum, I've been pretty lucky all these years.

I see someone else posted that they were sold out awhile ago because Spring Training took up some rooms too.

Love it though! Means it will be another great show!

I heard a rumor in Vegas that they are building another hotel across from the Tempe and should be open by the show... Does anyone there know if that is true?

I stayed off site once and it was horrible.

i was wondering why the google maps had two arrows.. hmm.
