Statistically, the Tweed/Northern Rivers area of northern NSW... otherwise known as the northcoast.. home to "smoking for the dole" towns like Byron Bay, Mullumbimby and Nimbin... and where the magic mushrooms grow free. Also the home of Richmond clinic where all the acid freaks end up.

outside of that it's still a nice place... especially along the coast.. US dollars.. DSL and the beach.

no, not that town, too hot, too landlocked, too close to the hole that is Lismore. I live just to the south east on the coast.. not as colourful unfortunately, a good mix of small town coastal people.
But a nicer environment.. I rarely venture into the sun..
when I do, I want to be near the water... This provides that.

I would vernture there are a lot more here.. the area is renowned for it's lifestlye and is part of the "seachange" phenomenom of people escaping the city to move to the coast, the Byron Bay area being a major recipient of them. I live 30 min out of Byron, but it apparantly has the highest ratio of mac-users to population than anywhere in Australia.. - all the designers, multimedia guys, 3d guys etc that can work online have moved here.. I was suprised to learn that actually.. I grew up in the area but have only just moved back.. I would figure there are many more adult webmasters in the region. It's also an hour or two away from the base of the adult business in Australia stretching from the Goldcoast to the adult mecca of Brisbane.
