The end of the world !
I know what will happen.
I understood it on TV when they show some scenarios of the apocalypse. The general condition is pretty easy and is the same as in this movie: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WarGames If a single evil genius is powerful enough to make something that could destroy the world, then the population need to be monitored for the sake of the survival of the human race. 2 Scenarios: - synthetic biology: to make some stuffs like that http://blogs.computerworld.com/19409...ect_your_brain or just produce lethal viruses http://www.nytimes.com/2002/07/12/us...ted=all&src=pm - if we decide to create an autonomous and warfare oriented IA and if someone decide to hack it (example) or like in terminator, we could get in trouble. These scenarios are not new. But what is new is for me what i conclude from this. Once this shit becomes possible and if a single individual can potentially detroy the whole human race, this means that we need a global and panoptical totalitarism (totalitarism: control of the all aspects of the human life). This involve: - full monitoring of the population - disarm people (no resistance) We know that if you monitor everything in the human life, that some pulsions create nevrosis if you try to oppose to them, this means that sexuality needs to be openly accepted to be sure that people don't start to hide stuff because they litteraly need it to be them (you want to monitor EVERYTHING, so the society has to accept the "dark side" of humanity). This is also basically the end of democracy and so the end of our world. An opinion ? |

Yeah, we have all heard these kinds of stories. The end of the world is coming soon. Generalissimos is not getting lower rank. Humans try to survive. Don’t commit suicide. Individuals really live different lives. Communications are out there. Try to be accepted by others. Good luck.
