And out of all the software on the market, the last software you want to use a pirated version is Windows. It is vunerable as it is without someone going in and "nulling" it and exposing it to more vunerabilities. Not to mention, what's not to say, the hacker who cracked it didn't leave a backdoor into the software for him and his hacker buddies to get into at a later date. That's enough of a reason to scare the shit out of you to use a legit version

On airports they don't allow pirate software and updates on windows are sweet to get, especially when you're in middle of conversation or something important - a message just jumps and saying: There's urgent update needed - windows will restart...

All legit here, I've cracked things before but as a rule of thumb I'm suspicious of doing business with anyone who has pirated goods, especially in quantity. It's a sign of a bad mindset.

Yes, OEM versions are only to be used on the original system they are installed on. Retail versions may be moved to a new system.

My copy is pirated. I installed it before Windows officially hit the stores. I loved it and used it for a few weeks. I bought a DVD with the same version but didn't install it since the one I am using was working so great.

Now it sits next to my monitor collecting dust.
