Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

Revenue rates...

Was it always 50/50? (most common now i quess, some even pushing to 70% nowadays).
How was it in let's say 1998? also 50/50? or 10/90?

Would be intredasting to know...

Yes, it was commonly 50/50

We were big so we got a lot better than that with special deals and so forth.
But in 1998, all the programs were doing almost unending pop-ups. And they all sold that pop up traffic back and forth to one another. That's how they could afford to do payouts like that.

So after a while we had to make other "special deals" to come back down to 50% in order to get rid of the pop ups.
Surfers fucking hated it! Some of them were so bad you had to reboot your computer because there was no way to stop them...you couldn't even shut your damn browser down. lol

So programs started to cut back the rev. ratios to compensate the lost of money when they stopped with the pop-ups? So their income stayed maybe the same while affiliates made less? and that was accepted?
